About
October 10, 2007 is the date when we opened our first bar store on the top of Neruda Street, right next to Prague Castle. Over time, ours Absinth bar has become a very confusing and popular place in the ranks of travelers from all over the world. Our work is our hobby. Unfortunately, at the end of January 2017, the lease was not extended and we were forced to leave our beloved bar. After less than 6 months, we found the right space for our ideas and for the magical date of 10.10.2017, after 10 years, we in Tyn yard only 3 minutes from the Old Town Square opened. We have a bigger space (140m2) and a cellar from the 14th century! in which there is one of the steps even from the 13th century, when this area was inhabited by a blacksmith. We divided the two floors as follows: the first floor is rather located in the shop and the bar is very downstairs with a very unique decoration. The atmosphere is amazing. We prepare our drinks right before a guest on a cart!

Neighborhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

We were looking for an Absinth bar - of course, we are in Prague after all. We both new Absinth from Germany but it is quite different. We stayed a few hours and tried different types of Absinth. The guy at the bar was great, he explained things really well, the presentation when we made the drinks was great and if you don't really know what to order, i got great recommendations from him. The place itself is just our kind of crazy, so much so see there. Be aware though, it's not cheap. We knew the check would be high but it was worth the experience for us and we really enjoyed the drinks

What a fun, unique experience (at least for us). The place itself is super weird and almost kitschy, but in a fun, unexpected way based on the front door/entryway. There's so much on the walls and ceilings to look at, and wonder about, and laugh at--in a good way, and it's just a neat vibe/setting.

The server was great. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and informative, and his "live" preparation (i.e., in front of us) was cool and well-done. Professional, but chill (i.e., not snooty).

Quite a substantial menu of different absinth to try as well.

We weren't really planning to go here, but somehow found ourselves here, and it ended up being one of our highlights of our weekend in Prague.

We wandered in off the street, attracted by the signs outside, they were really welcoming & happy for us to wander around looking at all the weird & wonderful things covering the walls.

We finally made our way down to the bar & the barman was so patient with us & all our questions, we settled on one of his recommendations & relaxed whilst he brought a trolley to our table & prepared our drinks, explaining all the steps, it was such a great experience.

The drinks were excellent & we wandered round the old town feeling super happy & chilled, genuinely wish we had found it earlier in our trip - 100% recommend a visit!

We came to this bar because of the reviews of great staff. Being quiet seasons when we got there we were the only ones there. We were told on the way in to go straight downstairs, not greeted. One of the guys came down shortly after. He was vaguely helpful and did explain the drink as he made it. Then left us there and never came back. We finished our drink, spent time some selecting the next one and waited. Around 20 minutes later we figured no one was coming and left. My girlfriend had been upstairs and couldn't even see anyone around. They didn't speak to us as we paid they just talked between themselves. For over $50 aud you would expect a bit more. Amazing reviews from others though so maybe just a combination of quiet season and no one else there. So I would advise take a look inside, see if others are being served and interacted with then maybe give it a shot. But if its quiet or the service looks slow bail somewhere else.

We had our first drinks at Green devils last night for the first time in three months after corona. what a treat! We had great drinks and service. This is our usual favorite place in Prague. But what we ordered new for us was saffron absinthe. The best we have ever had. Really something everyone should order.

If you want to see some of the more eclectic and non-touristy sides of Prague, be sure to visit the amazing Green Devil Absinth Bar. I liked it so much I visited it twice within the 5 days I spent in Prague.
The atmosphere of this place is hard to describe. I think surreal sums it up. From the moment you walk into the Shop part on the main floor you will understand. And from there you make your way down green lit corridors and down stairs to the Bar part of the place. This is where your friendly host will sit you down on some funky chairs and walk you through the very abundant Absinth menu. Lots of great choices from both France and the Czech Republic. And if you don't know where to start, your host will be your guide.
This place makes for a very interesting and one of a kind experience so please don't miss it while you are Prague

Walked in here because we were lured in by the glow in the dark demon outside. Never had absinthe before. The staff was very friendly and informative. Our girl was great in explaining the different types of absinthe since the menu is extensive. Good for one after dinner drink, as drinks are strong and pricey.

My wife and I visited here as I saw it on trip advisor and wanted to visit. The bar itself is very unique and a real spectacle. The absinth menu is huge, I never realised there were so many options. Thankfully a member of staff helped us and informed us of the different varieties and how they tasted. Once we had picked he returned with a trolley and prepared our drinks which, I must say, were good. I would definitely visit this bar again if I ever come back to Prague.
