Exceptionally exquisite ,aristocratic Karlovy Vary .The little town was built with a certain flair for glamour, and is extremely pleasing to the eye. Its aesthetic carries a bit of stately pretension, which is something we don’t really like in people, but find charming in buildings .The town is close to Prague and ideal for day tours .There are organised transfers and very convenient bus timings .One can walk around the sights for 2 hours .Around 30 thermal baths nowadays offer a spa for aristocracy and rich people .Or simply wellness lovers .The iconic Grand hotel Pupp is definitely the Pearl of this posh place .Did not meet Daniel Craig but I guess it was his loss after all .At St Peter and Paul church there was angelic Christmas concert Ave Maria .

It was a very enjoyable day and the tour was really good. It was a small group of 6 and the driver and the guide where fantastic. We got picked up from our Hotel which was really helpful. I read some negative reviews about this trip but all I have to say is that those reviews were written by some very unhappy people or very particular. Karlovy Vary was beautiful and you get plenty of time to visit all the shops and have lunch. If you get the chance please go on this tour, you won't regret it.

My mom and I were very excited when we saw the photos and the description. However, the tour itself was underwhelming. There wasn’t much to do or see and after sampling/drinking from 8 or so of the hot mineral springs there really wasn’t much else. As a result we felt we had too much free time. The lunch was good however a drink wasn’t included. We would have preferred a two course meal with a beverage instead. The tour guide was ok however having been on other tours this week, I found that she really didn’t interact with us unless we posed a question. She was knowledgeable but not overly outgoing as compared to other tour guides. All in all, we found the tour to be mediocre and would not recommend it. It didn’t live up to our expectations as we have had some amazing experiences prior to this on this trip.

Day trip is superb. No mobile network is added plus. Enjoy the serenity the calmness. Roadside food is very good. Paying for washroom are little uncommon for most indian travellers

My husband and I rented a car and traveled to Karlovy Vary on our own. Drive through the countryside was wonderful, beautiful scenery. Karlovy Vary was disappointing, we drove all around didn't see anything that justified the time. We aren't interested in glass factory tours and spas so that's probably why. Spend your time in Cresky Krumlov!
