Open every weekend and professionally organised with an entrance fee and an atm and lots of little places to have a snack. Mainly locals as far as we could tell.

Some nice things and enormous amounts of stuff that I would not consider buying. Maybe more of an experience than an actual shopping opportunity?

Yes it is extensive but I would hardly call it the largest in Europe. It appeared to us mainly geared to the local folks, with a fair amount of food and home products. For tourists who had recently visited the much more interesting and colorful flea market at the Nachts Markt in Vienna, this was quite different and of less interest.

It was really quit a lot of fun, but unfortunately, the temperature was at about 95F. We got through about half before we decided we'd had enough. Found a few small things, the sellers using calculators to show us the price. Lots of food, and surprising for us, beer and spirits. It is across the street from the subway system, so very easy to get to.

Even in the dead of winter, this is a great place to go. Just went in late January and there was a good crowd on a Saturday. Plenty of vendors. I was able to purchase several unusual items and was able to negotiate some of the prices. A few of the vendors spoke English but we never had a problem discussing prices using our phones.
Easy to get to - Metro to Hluboten and then the tram or the dedicated Flea Market shuttle

We went on a Sunday and had clear, moderate weather. TONS of vendors selling everything you can imagine. I always find some old communist era or older items. As a sports collector -there is always something interesting at an unbelievable price. Local team jersey for less than $5. Pretty far out of town but the tram goes from the tourist area and after about 15 stops - it drops you right at the corner of the flea market. The tram does get crowded quickly. I would recommend the tram over the Metro/Flea Market Bus option
Really very little communication probably - either someone speaks English or use of the phone makes it simple.

This Flea Market is mainly for Czech people, that's why you can find treasures also for collectors. Very large area with hundreds of vendors; of course some trash and new material but mainly good stuff. We recommend for people who enjoy real Flea markets!

We saw the brochure advertising it as the biggest flea market in Europe perfect for Tourists. I can't believe that - was big but full of second hand home appliances - washing machines, irons, also car tyres, lots of old brick a brack, even a second hand blow up doll!

This flea market is mostly for local people. Old stuff, damaged things, car parts, but also new and old clothing, (expired) food, fresh fruits and vegetables. I can't understand why there were so many people and what you should buy on this market.

Also the people in the food trucks are very unfriendly! The food is not good, by the way.

This market is nothing I would recommend a tourist! Just a waste of time.

If you happen to be in Prague during saturday do not miss the Flea Market. Whatever you want is there. Cheap nice stuff, in a nice ambiance. Treasures for world war 2, vintage stuff and cultural stuff like music and books. come with cash as no cards. Bargain and you get best deals

Nothing fancy will be found here. but a lot of cheap thrills, used appliances, small decorative items of small values. But interesting to see what locals are selling and spend a good 2 hours there!
