Great district

It is far-removed from the tourist areas and seemingly residential. We are walkers, so we enjoyed the 20ish minute stroll to the attractions each day.

ZIZKOV is without a doubt one my favourite districts of Prague to visit. It's not your pretty tourist area but it is full of character. There are some nice tourist attractions here and the one that most people will be familiar with is the famous Zizkow Tower. I love the nightlife here ,it's an area teeming with pubs, bars and... We had a great walk. It's not very far from the center. We took a tram here, but walked back. If you have more than two days in Prague - worth a visit. A lot of small cafes and shops. Zizkov tower is also nice.

This is a great base for a visit to Prague. There is a huge range of shops, bars and restaurants. While there are loads of hotels, apartments and hostels it is also an area where Czech people live and work. You can take a tram or walk to the main sites and return for cheaper food and drink in a... More

This place is so different to the touristy centre of Prague, a proper local kind of place where you dont pay silly prices for food or drink.

This is the largest bronze statue in Europe and is immense be impressive. It is a fun walk from downtown and well worth the visit, there is just not much to see other than the statue.

Zizkov is a great place to stay, at least to visit! If u have ever visited SoHo in NYC, so this is Zizkov in Prague. Art and architecture met there. People are very kind and helpful. There are 2 sides of Zizkov, the district is very well connected with public transport so you can reach old town in 10 minutes... More

I found this area rather boring: there's not much going on, views are nice but mostly blocked by some not so nice buildings. It might be nice to live there, but it's not a tourist attraction.
