Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

This is the perfect place to escape the million people wandering the streets of Prague. I went through the Tesla Radio door and it was just lovely. You can enjoy a bit of silence and shade and birdsongs. My advice, buy some of the open faced sandwiches from the cafeteria and enjoy your lunch in this park. It was lovely.

This park offers a much needed break from the crowds during tourist season, which seems to be most of the year! Bring your lunch and sit on a bench to enjoy the quiet. Seems to be well known by locals as a little place to get away for a short time. Took a little looking to find it, but it's not hidden by any means.

The apartment is very beautiful and large.
It is located pratically in Vinceslao square (one of the most important square in Prague, with a lot of stores, clubs and restaurants).
From there we never used the public transports, because you can reach the historic center simply by walking the square in 5-10 minutes.

We stayed for four nights in Ondrej's apartment and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The apartment is very centrally located, clean and quiet. Although it's a little dark and the kitchen and bathroom are quite basic, the apartment has an authentic vibe and is perfect for someone looking to experience the city. Added bonus: Ondrej is an absolute legend. He was incredibly helpful, providing us directions from both the airport and the main bus terminal, ordering us taxis and even printing off our bus tickets for us. The communication with him was very prompt and he was always very friendly and obliging. Thanks so much Ondrej for making our stay in Prague so enjoyable.
