The area
Neighborhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

Square Under Emmaus is a beautiful little square that houses the wonderful monument called Praha Svým Vitezným Synum ( Prague To Its Victorious Sons ) an absolutely stunning monument that looks fantastic ,a well detailed monument that makes for some great photographic opportunities and with the magnificent Emmaus monastery as a fantastic backdrop looks awesome.
Square Of Emmaus is easy to locate ,tram numbers 1.2.3.4.5.7.11.12 to stop Palackého Náměstí drops you off practically by the square .
Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Visited on Thursday 12th October. We were staying not far from here and went for a walk to have a look at the Church nearby. We came across this square by accident but it's worth having a look if you've got the time to do so.

Located in the wonderful New Town ( Nove Mesto ) is Square Under Emmaus ,a square I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to this fascinating city.
On this square you have great views of Church Of Emmaus and the centrepiece of the square is the very poignant Prague Monument To Its Victorious Sons ( Praha Svym Viteznym Synum ) ,all around the square are great looking buildings, its just a wonderful square to check out if you're planning a holiday to Prague.

Visited the Park, and enjoyed a short break. The church behind is beautiful, and adds to the ambience of the place. There is a commemorative garden for Project Edward, which I hope will be added to the site shortly

On this small historical square you will found Monument named "Prague to It's victorious sons" - brave Chechoslovakians. You can visit this square after visiting Vysehrad cemetery...than you can walk to the center of Prague. It's not too far.
