Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.

The guided tour of the manufactory on Plzenska Street in Praha17 had been carried out perfectly by Mrs. Jana Knobloch.
Given the excellent quality of the raw materials & products (all of which could of course be tasted through ;-) ) this is of course easy ... but the entertaining tour with insights into the manufacture was then even more interesting. Highlight is the production of your own bars of chocolate as a tasty reminder of the beautiful 1.5 hours with a fireworks of impressions and taste experiences.
Thanks again for the wonderful experience !
PS: Of course, the opportunity to shop in the showroom (expertly educated) was also taken afterwards: After all, Christmas is not far away;-) PP

Award winning chocolate that makes for great gifts. Just don't forget to bring yourself some home too! Their drinking chocolate is very rich and not what some are familiar with when they get a hot chocolate. It is however very tasty and worth ordering, although maybe don't go bigger than a small unless you're sharing.

I loved that I could sample chocolates to choose my favourite. I never would have thought the chili chocolate covered almonds would be my favourite, but they were the clear winner.

Wonderful service. Friendly, engaging. Encouraged me to sample chocolates, but didn't pressure me to make a purchase. Naturally, I made a couple of purchases anyway!

My local guide in Prague, Jane, brought our tour group here. I suspected she was more interested in bringing potential buyers to stores her friends worked at, maybe she got a kickback, then showing us the local sites. On the plus side, there are plenty of samples to try, the shop is small but inviting, and the one staff working there was friendly. The chocolate covered nuts are delicious, they taste like real chocolate, not very sweet. I bought a box thinking to share it with family but now I think I'm going to keep it for myself. 😆

Amazing hot chocolate. Perfect for a late night walk around Old Town. Went quite late and only for the hot chocolate which didn't disappoint. Only a small cup but it was soooo chocolately, you don't need much

Steiner & Kovařík are doing a great job in making the best versions of chocolates without doubt.I have been to their branch in Dubai Ibn batuta mall and decided to give them a visit while in Prague. One of the brand new outlet located in old town.
The staffs were really courteous and understanding.
We chose my all time favorite cinnamon, some dark chocolates and few sugar free.
It is the best gift for our friends and family back home. Would love to go back again.
Thanks Petr Kovařík though we couldn’t meet this time.

We stopped here on a walking tour for a quick warm up after a visit to the very cold and windy castle, and I was wowed by the hot chocolate so returned for lunch a couple of days later. I particularly enjoyed the hot chocolate and fruit option. I also had a really nice bowl of soup.

Went to the Factory Shop in Prague just below the Prague Castle. The staff were very friendly and described their offerings and a wonderful sample of their variety of chocolate covered and lightly dusted (cinnamon, chili, moringa) which were all very good. I’m usually not a big fan of spicy and chocolate together, but even that was good! On our way out we noticed they had a chocolate beer. We were very pleasantly surprised at how good it was and even came back to buy a bottle for our waiter down the street while expressed interest in it. It’s worth finding and stopping in if you are lucky enough to be in Prague!!
