About
I love Segway is a private tour provider based in Prague. All of our tours are private and individual. Our experienced guides take you to hidden places which you would most likely not find on your own.We can take you to other great sites in Bohemia. On Segway, you will get to see much more in little time, then if you travel by foot. We document your tour and then you recieve free high quality pictures and videos at the end of the tour. Our machines are 2014 Segway i2 models Made In Usa. Safety is our number one concern. You will recieve a proper training of how to safely ride the Segway before your tour starts. The time of the training is not calculated in to your tour. Gliding on Segway is easy to learn, it is ecological and it is FUN :)) Come for a glide with us and see for your self what it is like to glide above the grounds of Bohemia.

it could have been a cloudy and cold tuesday, with our daughters complaining about visiting another museum... Instead, Stanislas made this day unforgetteable for the 4 of us... Great segway experience, really friendly and natural connection, excellent info sharing on Praha... We felt being taken care of while having great fun...

Don't miss it!

We had spent 2 full days marching around Prague trying to get all the sites in, walking place to place. We had got to see not even half of what we wanted to see on foot in 2 days!. We were lucky to have a very helpful receptionist at our hotel who provided us with the contact details to Standa, the gentleman who runs I Love Segway as there was plenty of other companies who had flyers in our reception. We initially booked the tour for around Prague city. I had never rode on a segway before this experience. My girlfriend had neither but we picked it up in 10 minutes. We headed for Charles bridge and the square beyond. We took in all the regular sites of Prague initially. Then we went to areas where , not only were there no other segways around, but no other tourists either. It was a really great tour and in a single day we took in all the sights we had already seen on foot plus the other half that we didnt get to (and had a lot more fun doing it), which gave us more time for relaxing and having a few beers the following days. Excellent fun tour, great guides who will tailor a tour for your needs, (our tour ran over by 1 hour because of the extra sites we wanted to see and it was no problem for Standa, and he didnt even chrage us for it.)
My girlfriend had always wanted to visit Czesky Kromlov which is about 2/3 hour drive from Prague. We asked Standa was there a possibility he could arrange a day trip for us down there with the segways and take in the sights there. He tailored the tour to suit us, at a very reasonable price and brought us on the most memorable trip we had ever been on. We got there early morning and beat the crowds. It really was amazing.
Would I reccommend using I love segway (even if you haven`t used a segway before):Yes!
Will I be using their services again: Definately Yes!
I really wouldnt even look at another segway company there now. It was an all around fantastic experience and made our holiday.

We had the good fortune to meet Stanislav on a rainy day in April 2014 while visiting the Charles Bridge. He had recently launched iLoveSegway. After discussing his tours, we scheduled a 2 hour tour for the following morning. 2 of our group of 4, had never ridden a Segway. Standa was kind enough to send a taxi to pick us up the next morning. We arrived at his office on time and ready to go. After a safety briefing and a few minutes of instruction, we were on our way. For the next 3.5 hours, we experienced Prague! Old Town, the three hills surrounding Prague, Lennon's Wall, racing through rose gardens... you name it, we saw it! Our trip to Prague was fantastic. Our tour with iLovesegway, stands out as our favorite activity. Standa (Stanislav) understands customer service and exceeding expectations. I highly recommend iLoveSegway

My 10 year old boys did this tour with Stanislav in October and it was their favourite thing of the trip! I was initially unsure if the boys should do without me, as I couldn't take my 3 year old, but Stanislav immediately put me at ease and we all liked him right away. The boys got a lesson and safety rules and were off and running! Stanislav made sure they had a wonderful time and got a second guide to help to make sure everyone was safe. He took pictures and even a video for me, which was above and beyond! Next time, I'd like to go and am sure the boys will want to do I love Segway again! Thanks Stanislav!!!

So I'm form New England, and have lived with our...how should I say this...."uniquely" laid out streets. When our forefathers were deigning these cities, you have to wonder if they were trying to make it as difficult to navigate as possible. If you need an example: Boston. If you've ever driven there, than you know what I mean...
Until I traveled to Prague, Boston was, hands down, the most frustrating place to get around in. Now, without a doubt...Prague now tops this list.
Now you must understand, being a commercial fisherman, my life revolves around navigating boats, often far from the sight of an land, to our gear, around other boats and back to the same spot from which we departed. All the while, constantly being aware of the direction of wind and tide. I'm saying all of this because whether I'm consciously keeping my bearings or not, I am always doing it. So when I had a week of overcast, and couldn't use the sun as a reference, I got lost more than a few times. I when I say lost...I mean like lost...lost.
So when I got back to the hotel after the first day of aimlessly roaming around this amazing city, I was thinking I really needed to come up with a better strategy than the one I had...which to be honest...wasn't one at all. So after deliberation, I came up with three options:
Plan 1) Group Tour
Now granted, I've been on some very good and very informative trolley tours in my travels, but I've also been on some VERY bad ones. And the day before, whilst walking the Prague streets, I saw a tour trolley, driver not saying a word, playing a recorded voice over a PA, while everyone furiously snapped photos out of the one side.
I'm sorry, but I would rather shoot myself in the face then have to endure this...

Plan 2) Rent a bicycle
Now at face value this sounds like a great idea, until it dawned on me; I would be riding around just as confused as to where I was, what I was looking at, and where I was going as I was the day before...but I would simply be doing it faster than I would on foot.

Plan 3) Ask the locals

Plan 3 was by far the most productive!
I asked the The Kampa Garden Hotel staff what their advice was. They recommended Stan at "I love Segway".
Now, I wasn't sure if I did in fact love Segways. Especially since I saw different Segway companies very loudly and agressively arguing in Russian over what appeared to be a "turf" disagreement, in the Old Town Square the day before. It honestly all seemed kind of shady.
But "I love Segway" was situated quite literally right around the corner from my quiet hotel, which was in a very nice part of the city, and thought I should at least give it a look. And I'm very glad I did! Stan runs his business out of a carriage house of a centuries old building owned by some Knights of something or other, nestled quietly in the back of a grassy courtyard that Beethoven was known to write music in.
I'm not joking...

I will say this, this is the PERFECT way to see a city! You are unrestricted as to where you go. Stan asks with a smile, "What would you like to see today?" You can decide what to see and where to go! And I can tell you what...Stan knows his city! And he speaks perfect English, and even lived in the States when he was young! I honestly have nothing negative to state... It was the perfect and personal way to see amazing and ancient city!
Hands down, the best surprise of my trip!

After one day of walking the streets of Prague we decided to let our feet rest.

We’ve browsed tripadvisor app for possible Segway tours and followed our intuition to Stanislav’s Segway tours.

We’ve explained to him what we had already seen in Prague and Stanislav had tailored a tour just for us in a fairly reasonable price.

We started with training the Segway and after 5 mins we got the hang of it and hit the road.

The tour was fun, professional, informative and above all, Stanislav himself is a great guy!

The special treats in this tour were first having our pictures taken along the way and second getting hot tips for non-tourists/local places to hang out, dine and drink.

WARNING: Stay away from Segway tours offered in the center (old town etc.).

We had the most amazing 3 hours touring Prague with Stan. We went up to the castle etc through the park and even stopped to pick and eat plums along the way. Stan is so easygoing and we would highly recommend him if you want a fun day. He's easy to find as he hangs out in front of the John Lennon wall. Enjoy!

I love the segway and I'm sure John Lennon would have loved too, if he could experience the ride with Stan. We enjoyed the tour extremely and spent memorable time with this great guy. Nice place in garden next to the John Lennon memorial , new clean Segways and best guide ever!
Honestly recommend!
