The most amazing tour I have ever known. I have visited Prague maybe 10 times ( many of these in 1990s) I found out so much today about the history, architecture and more importantly the Czech culture and pride in heritage. Thankyou so much for an amazing experience.

I contacted Petr asking for an individual tour on the subject of Pragues gay history. First of all, he could not have been more accommodating and willing to devise a tour on my specific interests. Petr was welcoming and I felt settled and at ease straight away. Petr’s knowledge of the development of lgbt presence in Prague from pre war to the present day was fascinating, thought provoking and definitely humbling to hear about the many pioneers of our present day freedoms (of course only in some countries). Petr had a unique ability to highlight architecture connected with the history as well as immense knowledge of the political systems that both hindered and helped the lgbt cause in Prague and the wider world. I have been on many tours and whilst all are definitely recommended, I have to highlight Peter as the most engaging tour guide yet, and not just because my tour was individual but because of how it was relayed. - excellent.

We booked a three hour tour and ended up extending it to six hours because we were having such a good time and didn’t want it to end! Spending the day with Petr was great— the tour felt like hanging out with a friend who just so happens to know anything and everything about the city (and about pretty much anything in general)! We had so much fun learning about the history of the city, different styles of art and architecture, music, talking about world issues and queer culture/history, and even stopping to rest and refresh in some lovely cafes along the way. He was also great about tailoring the tour to our interests and making sure the pacing worked okay for me when I mentioned that I have some issues with my back and sometimes need to take it easy. I feel like I learned so much, and I left the tour feeling inspired to learn even more about everything we talked about today. I hope to visit Prague again soon, and when I do I’ll absolutely be booking more tours with Petr—I honestly can’t imagine a better guide to this beautiful city.

Petr has a PhD in cultural anthropology so it is a give in that he knows his stuff. He was kind, patient and insightful every step of the way. From emailing back and forth before arrival to the actual tours themselves, Petr was a complete professional and goes above and beyond. He was always on time and completely organized from tickets, to public transportation to bringing along his iPad. The cherry on top was that Petr somehow managed to get my family into Strahov monastery, which is no easy task and completely his idea to help us customize the tour to fit our needs, and that alone became one of the highlights of the entire trip. We also bumped into his parter in the Jewish Quarter and my family was in complete awe by the work they do restoring the "stumbling stones" on the sidewalk. He was fantastic with my Dad, who is not the easiest human on the planet to deal with, and for that I thank Petr a million times over and would recommend anyone spend time with him in Prague.
