Neighborhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

We booked shootings + tank riding/driving with Kiki and it was perfect.
She organised the trip and drove us around.
We shot with 2 guns and 3 shotguns.
We then went to the tank place. We were ten and tried 2 tanks.
Thanks again Kiki for this awesome day.

I arranged a suprise outing to Prague shooting for my fiancee's birthday with a group of our close friends, our friends were collected from their hotel and my fiancee and I from our home here in Prague promptly at the arranged time. The young lady Kiki who collected us spoke perfect english and is also the experienced trainer/shooter who Took us out on the shooting range.
Kiki gave a great safety briefing before we used any live ammunition! we also were given eye and ear protection.
There were 14 of us in our group and Kiki gave us a discount and some extra rounds of ammunition,I was a little bit apprehensive at first as I have never fired a gun before, but Kiki reassured me and after a few rounds I was really getting in to it,my fiancee thought he was rambo! with his Kalasnikov AK47 and pumpaction shotgun!
I favored the smaller guns like the police pistol and the magnum, all of our group had their favorite firearms, its seems all the guys went for the machine guns and big guns.
The day was very professionally organised and adrenaline filled,we felt very safe in Kiki's hands.Afterwords we all sat down together and had an amazing BBQ of roasted suckling pig and ice cold beer of which we paid for a small extra charge, and believe me it was delicious! the entire day was well organised and great value for money. I recommend this to people of all ages.A must for visitors to Prague.
We will return to this range for sure and try out some of the other adrenaline filled outings at Czech activities, one great thing is that on would expect this to be just for the boys, well wrong as Kiki our instructer (real life Laura Croft)with 10 years experiance made us girls feel like we can match the boys and out shoot some of them:)
thanks kiki for making our day out so memorable, we were so lucky that The weather was so amazing that lovely summers day.
I can't recommend this enough.

The trams are very frequent, plentiful, and easy to use. Buy a day or 3 day ticket. It activates only when you first get on and stamp it so you decide when it starts. A day ticket then lasts 24hrs from when you started it, and you only need to stamp it once, when you start. You can get to everywhere on a tram and the tram map, (available from every hotel, as are the tickets) is easy to follow. I went on a number 22 all the way to the end at
Nadrazi Hostivar, there is nothing there only rows of housing blocks all grey and austere looking. But worth the long trip (just over an hour from the centre of Prague) on a very busy tram and you get to see the real Prague suburbs and people as they go about there daily chores. They are not expensive, 110 Kc (£3.20) for a whole 24hrs. I liked the trams even the old ones which are being replaced by new high tech ones.
For all the main sites in the centre of Prague you can walk them all.
