We had the best Christmas Day food tour by far! Leona was our guide; she is exceptionally knowledgeable about all things Czech. She selected an amazing variety of dining experiences while accommodating my preferences for vegetarian fare. Our grown daughter accompanied my husband and I. She is foodie & she agreed that the tour was a special way to celebrate Christmas. The walking was easy from each establishment and helped us feel like we burned a few calories. One couldn’t help but over eat! Communicating with Leona was easy; she answered questions prior to our trip. She had excellent suggestions for dining out other activities while we were in Prague. Leona made me feel like I had acquaintance in Prague even prior to leaving for our trip. Highly recommend supporting this company.

We were in Prague the first week of December 2023 with several family members and booked this Food tour. Leona was our guide and she was wonderful; very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Prague and culture - especially surrounding food.
We visited several restaurants and had food and drinks at each one; enjoyed trying different foods and hearing the history of the items. The tour was our dinner meal that night!
Leona’s English was perfect; she answered questions and was a delight to be with during the tour.
Would definitely recommend this tour. We have commented that this was one of the highlights of our trip!

I had to postpone my trip to Prague because of a funeral, and was really worried I would miss out on my scrumptious food tour - but Leona and Jiří were really flexible and moved it to a later day for us. The tour itself was simply amazing. We really enjoyed listening to Jiřís stories that were a good mix of information about the Czech Republic and fun personal ones. The stops were really well planned and all of the food and drink was very tasty. My friend and I are both vegetarians, and felt that the tour was really well adapted to accommodate us. All in all a great experience - thank you!! 😊

My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Leona during our recent trip to Prague. It happened that we were the only people on that particular tour, so we had the great opportunity to learn not only about Czech culture, history, architecture and, of course, food, but also about our delightful guide :) As everyone notes, be sure to pace yourself, the food amount is significant--packing up for later was fortunately an option on our tour. The tour is extremely well organized. It's a wonderful experience to just be able to enjoy the various tastes without waiting or confusion (tables are ready, the servers and managers are all gracious and open to additional questions, payment of the bill is discreet). Leona herself is wonderful. We felt like we made a friend over the course of the several hours spent together. Thanks for the lovely time!

Our food tour with George was brilliant. The venues he took us to were terrific and the explanations he gave us about Czech history, people and culture were extremely valuable. We also loved the stories about his own family. We were very full at the end of the tour and completely satisfied. Thank you George!!

What a lovely tour... Leona was such a beautiful host. I have to be honest I think it was over priced for what the tour was considering how inexpensive things are in Prague. So would I tell you who's reading this to do the tour? Possibly if you only have two days in Prague and wanting U.K. experience the whole food and drink experience then YES! But if like us you has a few days then I am I would say it isn't value for money.

I had read through reviews of Prague prior to our visit, to enable us to gain some knowledge of what and where to go. The choice was immense. I sifted through the food and drink elements and found the 'Prague Food Tour'. A company that were able to give us first hand knowledge of Czech life, its history, culinary delights and of course alcoholic beverages!!!

Further reading and a short email to Leona, confirmed our booking. Details of exactly what was included and how payment was to be made reassured us of a one time experience that we were both looking forward to, especially as we were only in Prague for a few days.

We were met at the agreed time and place, together with another English couple and four students from Chicago USA. The tour commenced with our first stop at 'Jan Paukert' a renowned place full of history. A selection light starters had us salivating as to what to expect as the evening went on. I will not go into details, but please check the place out on the internet.

Next was Bonvivants Cocktail and Tapas bar, an incredible place where we were to sample the original 'Absinthe' and more cocktails followed! All the time Leona and George kept us enthralled with history and life in Prague.

Next was the 'Lokal', the longest restaurant in Prague where we had beer of differing strengths and styles and of course traditional Czech food. Our tour weaved its way through back streets and alleyways that I would never have known existed, let alone the history as well.

Not quite the finale, but to sit down for a prearranged meal at the 'Cafe' Imperial' really set the scene, the service, oppulance, surroundings and meal were beyond comprehension.

Last but not least we arrived at the 'Vinograf' wine bar, where as one would expect we sampled Czech wines. Its surprising that I can still remember where we went on our tour, as they say the camera never lies. Our hosts Leona and George were impeccable and I can only say that our memories of Prague will be embedded with their knowledge and an insight into Prague behind the scenes. We will certainly recommend the Prague Food Tour to anyone considering visiting Prague.

This was a fun evening. The tour guide was very nice and interesting to talk to, and the group was small which made it like an evening out with friends. We went to a variety of places, each of which was interesting in a different way, and we got to see some parts of Prague that we might not have discovered on our own. Some of the food was quite tasty -- especially the Prague ham, and the potato-dill-mushroom soup at the Imperial Café. I can't say that the food was spectacular overall, though. Perhaps that is because I am comparing this tour to the food tour I took in Budapest where the food was just incredibly good. One of my favorite places on the Prague tour was actually a bar, even though I am not a bar person. This was a retro bar in mid 20th century style. We had some unusual drinks made with Czech liquors, and the bartender was quite a showman -- very fun. Overall, it was a fun experience, but don't get your hopes up about spectacular food.
