The collection is very interesting. But the commentary is what provides meaningful context and allows you to connect to this royal family that may seem untouchable otherwise. I was reminded how closely European countries were inter-related centuries ago and how one generation can have such...More

Lobkowicz Palace can be incredibly hard to find; it's in the Castle area but not part of the Castle. Well worth the search: when people ask what's my favorite place in Prague, this is it. Loved the intimate rooms, with each object chosen by the...More

The audioguide was facinating and for the view alone, I think people come. Got to learn alot of history, even if the furnishings and paintings are NOT top rate. The original scores of Beethoven and Mozart are unfortunately just shown in a locked case without...More

The combination of the castle, artifacts, portraits, and the narrative in multiple languages was excellent. The narrative included with the ticket really enhanced the experience. The Cafe Terrance overlooking the city is a good place for something to drink, and the gift shop seemed to...More

There is a website you might like called "praguewithfamily." It gives some great ideas for fun with children. There is a free kit you can download. I think it's fine to go to the Palace with a 3-year old. There is the... More
