This family palace adjoins the cities' main palace on the hill overlooking the river. There is a wonderful view of the river and the city from the balcony next to the coffee shop. One the best art museums in the country with taped tours explaining...More

We skipped the crowds of the Palace and opted for this instead. The story of the family is well told through the audio guides - and their collection includes weapons, artworks and original music scores. well worth the visit.

There was a 15 minute walk from our mini-van through beautiful cobblestone courtyards leading up to the palace. Very warm inside during the summer months, but on the terrace there is a fantastic panorama view of the area. When leaving you must navigate staircases back...More

Take some the time to go see that location, good history one. You don't need to pay for the full ticket to enjoy it.

Definitely worth the price of admission. Wonderful collection that for me was the most interesting part of the whole Prague Castle experience.

Apparently the museum never heard about air conditioners. couldn't concentrate and actually enjoy the museum because it was so hot and smelled so bad.

Although the Prague Castle is a very busy place in late June, one of the quieter places and spaces is the interior of the Lobkowicz Palace. Recently restored to its former grandeur with the return of a number of artifacts, it is a quiet respite...More

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if
you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched
from the west to the north, provide spectacular views
of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.
Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the

There is a website you might like called "praguewithfamily." It gives some great ideas for fun with children. There is a free kit you can download. I think it's fine to go to the Palace with a 3-year old. There is the... More
