Best beer I have had in Prague. Hazy IPA for me! Food was great too. Ribs where the meat is falling off the bone as it should be and tons of them! Good value for the cost. Its busy! We sat outside in December, but there were heat lamps and blankets. Its was doable. Inside is nice and arm if you are lucky enough to get to sit inside. Service is good. My husband liked his amber beer.

Had a quick beer and ice cream after visiting the Monastery. Service lovely and efficient. Hot food looked good but cold options we tried were exceptional - Beer Ice Cream is unusual but lovely. Excellent range of locally brewed beers. Prices reasonable (unlike adjoining Library and Abbey)

We absolutely love visiting the monastery and enjoying delicious food and drinks. When we visit every year we come up here. In Jan 2023 we visited with friends and were unable to have a table in the brewery side so ate in the newer building. I was keen to visit with my Mum for her 80tg Birthday so emailed weeks in advance. On the day I took Mum round the library in same grounds and then our family of 10 people met for a delicious lunch. I had the goulash and dumplings with 2 large dark beers. It was absolutely delicious. I love the venue and the service is excellent. We will be back again in 2025 for sure.

My twin brother and I were up in the wonderful Strahov Monastery Complex, after taking in all the wonderful sites up here we were in need of a cooling beer so we dropped into the Strahov Monastery Brewery, been here many times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this brewpub, interior is superb, shiny beer brewing vats prominently on display, a great looking serving bar, lovely eclectic decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this brewpub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and beautiful Strahov Monastery Complex, its just a great brewpub to unwind in. We were here on a Saturday afternoon, this brewpub was packed, we luckily managed to get a table were we ordered their dark beer ,these were served in excellent condition, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular brewpub. My beer was really good, dark,malty ,packed with flavour, very consistent from the first sip till the last sup, a classic dark Czech beer,its hardly surprising that this brewpub is so popular with beers served in this good a condition . We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Strahov Monastery Brewery we had a great time. Strahov Monastery Brewery is easy to locate in the Strahov Monastery Complex. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 10am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Great place with great beer specials as well as meals. Not far from the Prague castle. Convenient for bigger groups as well (like was the ours). I personally loved the duck + the sour cabbage!

After visiting the Abbey I grabbed lunch at the Brewery. I ordered off the restaurant menu and sat at a communal table. My server was cheerful, attentive, kind, and spoke perfect English. My schnitzel was delicious and a nice portion. Dessert was also very good. I’d return without hesitation.

We visited quickly the monastery, when it started raining. We went quickly to the monastery brewery and thought to have a beer. Before we got the drinks, we saw dishes the other customers were eating, and As the rain was getting heavier, we decided to have a bite. The food was good, the beer was toi, and the service was really good too, so I strongly recommend to visit the brewery, even you would not be a beerlover!

We stopped here for lunch and a beer and weren't disappointed. I started with the excellent dark lager, but was blown away by the sakura amber ale. I think it is a special brew but hope they continue it because it is one of the most interesting beers I've ever tried. We decided to order the pork hock as it was on our list of things to try and we are glad we did it here. It was fantastic (2 of us shared)!

This is an excellent lunch spot while seeing the sights. It was a busy lunchtime, and sharing picnic bench style tables is the norm. We shared a starter and a main (portion sizes in Prague are big!) washed down with a beer of course. Friendly staff and good service.

Delicious food, large poortions. We visited for lunch, arriving around 1pm and got the last outdoor table, but there is a large area inside as well. Delicious beers, and a beautiful location with a small park lining their eating area. Service was excellent as well.
