Neighborhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

How did they do it?
Dec 2019
We watched Life is life and thoroughly enjoyed a very entertaining show. It is for all ages.

Limited cast with good dancing and acting. The cast was interactive with the audience and the children in the audience loved it.

Reasonable prices.

Touristy, but fun, entertaining, and unique
Oct 2019
I had heard about black light puppetry in Prague, and had always wanted to check it out. Everyone I asked about it said "Don't do it" and all the reviews said "Waste of time and money".

I'm glad I went anyhow to see The Little Prince, because it was one of the highlights of my trip. Yes, it's very touristy, and yes, a bit pricy, but it was very fun and entertaining and a unique experience. My 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter were enthralled, too. One nice aspect of this theatre is that at the end of the show, they reveal how it works and invite volunteers from the audience to try it out. Go with low expectations but an open mind.

Travel for fun

It was not such a great experience. I thought it was a must see but I was disappointed. There was pantomime - completely childish - and the dancers. Some of the dancing was good enough but overall a big disappointment. If you feel like definitely going, don’t have many expectations.

More like a high school play than professional theater
Sep 2019
Went because it's a Prague thing...disappointing...it was described as Blue Man Group like, but very amateurish in comparison. The theater is a very small auditorium with folding chairs and a stage. It isn't big enough to have any bad seats. The show was Deja Vu and it was interesting.Over the years we've watched people move into their technology and away from personal contact so it was an interesting message. It's Ok if you have time and nothing better to do, but don't skip the sights at night to do this.

Technically interesting, but sadly crudely offensive
Oct 2019
I decided to book "Deja Vu" to draw a day of sightseeing to a close. Before I continue, I know that I am writing as a liberally-minded university student and this may affect how you see this review. In my opinion, although the performance was technically interesting, the overt racism and sexism prevented me from enjoying the show.

First, the good parts. I think this is a good introduction to an interesting form of theater where florescent lighting is used to create an "animation" behind the actors. What I found particularly impressive was how the actors were able to bring the seemingly two dimensional objects (such as telephones) into their three dimensional world.

Now the bad. From my perspective, the performance was overtly sexist and racist. I am fine with seeing female genitalia in a performance, but I think this should be balanced with the male counterpart. There is also a scene where puppets resembling golliwogs are used. I found this shocking. The acting was also not good, and the humour (even when acceptable) rarely went beyond a 1970s sitcom.

Had I known about the content, I would not have given this performance my money.

If you are in Prague I would look st other stuff to do. I think the show would be great for family’s but I found it so cringe and cheesy. Couldn’t follow the story and dancing was terrible

Bar was good but

For people who like theatre
Jun 2019 • Couples
We had a free evening and heard about black light theatre. We booked tickes for some show. There is actually two black light theatre box offices quite near to each other so we ended up in the "wrong" theare. But nevertheless the show 'Life is life' was every now a then amusing. The setup looked like a student theatre. I'm not a fan on theatre, so theatre enthusiasts may be more out of it.
