About
Our ORIGINAL black light theatre is extraordinary among the other black light theatres in Prague, because we are using unique, original and patented technology, TRADITION SINCE 1960's. We have two performances. Life is Life, very successful performance which was played all around the world and DEJA VU, brand new performance which was premiered in May 2014. Both performances are interactive and the spectators are welcome to take part in the show. This form of black light theatre is becoming welcome and demanded everywhere again, because it uses communication and language without any barriers. Performances connects several principles of black light theatre into one non-verbal performance. So come, join us and enjoy the uniqueness of black light theatre!

Neighborhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

It is a little hard to describe the experience, but here goes. We were there in Juli 2016 for the evening show of "Life is life". Some may want to describe the show as somewhat chaotic or confusing. I will chose to look at it as varied. The show is composed of partly modern dance with classical music, describing the life from birth to death of a man, partly entertainment with inclusion of the audience and partly like watching a live cartoon. Though each part on its own was great, it is hard to see how the parts fit together. The music chosen for the show is mostly good and the show does give a good couple of laughs. It ends with explaining the idea behind the "Black Lights", where the audience is welcomed on stage. This part should be singular for this black light theater (note that there is one right next to the one described).

All in all it is worth a visit.

If you are in Prague there are lots of things to see and enjoy. Do not waste your time in a Black Light theater unless you have a little kid with you. Cirque de soleil's do ten times better job that them.

We watched Life is life and thoroughly enjoyed a very entertaining show. It is for all ages.

Limited cast with good dancing and acting. The cast was interactive with the audience and the children in the audience loved it.

Reasonable prices.

Show - Deja Vu. Very sophisticated idea, quote of Einstein about how technology ruins our lives. But very poor, sadly poor storyline and horrible sketches from teenegers - penises and poor drawings of naked ladies? Really? I don't consider myself as a feminist, but even for me it was very offensive how they pictured the relationship between man and woman (as the woman destroyes all the person of man, posses him absolutely). Scenes with lady from audience was weirdly offensive, too long... lot of the scenes were too long and without logic. The story didn't stick together, I really didn't get what they try to show - how the technology fills our lives with commerce and shopping.. and western? That the man who was forced to marry girl is now more interested in the tablet? And the dancing was like from the high school musical. And honestly, black theatre is nice but it's not such a mysterious for adults (so the after show workshop is quite sad). But it's true the all show seemed to be for teenagers and kids who probably appreciate the ten-types-vagina-jokes. This kind of humor was OK and maybe even funny 20 years ago. Or when you were 12, seriously.
Really very dissapointing and I would not recomand it to none.

Went because it's a Prague thing...disappointing...it was described as Blue Man Group like, but very amateurish in comparison. The theater is a very small auditorium with folding chairs and a stage. It isn't big enough to have any bad seats. The show was Deja Vu and it was interesting.Over the years we've watched people move into their technology and away from personal contact so it was an interesting message. It's Ok if you have time and nothing better to do, but don't skip the sights at night to do this.

Blacklight theatre is a fun concept, which gives some good visual effects behind conventionally lit actors. I went to see DEja Vu - this was quite a simple play, with some laughs and a message about how technology changes our lives. Whilst the plot of the play was (I felt) quite weak, the actors and performers were superb and the blacklight effects are quite cool.

Went to see Deja Vu, which had a clever story line but could have been delivered a bit better. (although not sure what it had to do with Deja Vu, maybe I missed the point. "Technology killed the art of conversation" would be more apt.) The "black light" acting was good, but I thought the real acting was a bit poor.
Could do with a bit more "black light puppetry" in my opinion.

Went with my wife to the show with low expectations. After seeing it I think that it was a little chauvinistic and some of the humor I didn’t like and didn’t get. It was also a little simplistic. Nevertheless the performance of the actors was good, the and the performance of the black light part was excellent that I didn’t understand that so many people were involved in it. On the whole, a nice and fun show.

I saw "Life is Life" at Metro after seeing "Antologia" at Srnec. The Metro theatre is nicer, better air quality, much larger theater. However, the Srnec show was at a much higher level. Once the fun of the black lights wears off, "Life is Life" is a bit gimmicky, with a shallow "plot", and stale costumes and dance numbers that didn't maximize the value of the black light. The "workshop" showing how the performance looks with the lights on was nice, but just draws attention to the fact that the show is little more than a series of illusions without the depth of plot or polish that I would expect from a professional performance.
