Neighborhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

Do. Not. Bother.

We went as a couple to party, dance and generally enjoy a club but were left far more than disappointed. We are fine with cheesy. We are fine even with tacky however this place could only dream of being called cheesy or tacky.

The staff were rude, abrupt and even laughed with us when we collected our coats a whole 20 minutes after checking in.

We reserved our entry prior to arrival at 9pm only to be told our reservation was not valid as there was a ‘special event’ happening at the club. Upon questioning why the website allowed us to book and pay if it was not valid, we were let in - this we felt was a scam from the outset.

Upon entering the club we found the place EMPTY. Now it was early we admit however we expected a few other people to be in the ‘ice bar’. When we were allowed in (30 mins late) it was empty and somewhat underwhelming. I’ve had a better time in the desert section of Iceland. It is a gimmick. Don’t bother.

As for the rest of the club - there were only 2 other floors open, both of which were empty and sad. The dance floor of the ‘oldies’ part looked cool… but that’s about the only positive I have to say. The rest felt dirty, dingy and disappointing.

We stayed for one drink and left… quickly. We found some local bars and had a far better time.

Please do not waste your money here. I promise you’re not missing out. You will only regret it.

If the Devil was real I would rather spend an eternity up his A hole than 5 minutes in this place, it is vile!!! Staff are beyond rude, it says smoking is not allowed but it stinks of cigarettes, signed up for the "ice bar" and club entry, the ice bar looks like the inside of an articulated lorry with 2 ice statues, the guy inside didn't want to be there as much as we didn't, avoid the whole place like a plague victim has licked every surface and you don't have a plague vaccination certificate to prove you can't catch it. No no and even more no's

I made an account just to leave this review, that’s how bad this place is. The idea was cool, five stories of dancing and fun you’d like to think. It couldn’t have been farther from that. They actually have three stories; disco (rave music), oldies (classics as we call them in North America), and hip hop/ R&B. There were no real DJs, just people playing one full song after another, no real mixing. It was so awful I cannot believe the hype this place has. NOT WORTH THE DOOR CHARGE! This is embarrassing to call it one of the most popular “clubs” in Prague.

Karlovy Lazne is a fun place with 5 full floors of a party experience that caters to everyone. There are different kinds of music on every floor with different interesting things to see such as robots serving at the bars, alcohol mist balloons, and much more. To be honest though, the best thing about this place is the novelty. Each floor is only slightly above average and many of the rooms were empty even though a friend and I went on a Saturday night in November.

I did however, really enjoy the ice bar! They give you a blanket/poncho and gloves, and a drink is included in your admission. I would definitely recommend going to the ice bar and I recommend the club only if you haven't been before.

Karlovy Lazne is a famous club in Prague.
A friend of mine strongly suggested this place because it is famous as the 'largest club in Central Europe'.
Well...what an experience.

Karlovy Lazne is huge, it has 5 floors with different music such as rock, commercial, R&B, techno.

The club was full of people and the stairs to take to go to one floor to another, are quite narrow and they do not really give a safe feeling.

The price for the entrance is around 10/15 euros and the drinks are quite cheap compared to clubs in other european cities.

The club was quite dirty, I have ever seen floors so sticky and toilets so busy.

Despite these last points, I suggest Karlovy Lazne. Just for the surreal experience.

We were really excited to be going to the 'largest club in Central Europe'.

The club is huge, with so many floors. We couldn't count exactly how many there were. However, each floor is very average and only a few were busy with people. The floors that were busy were full of stag dos, meaning they were 85% males aged 30+.

Overall this club is a bit of a novelty with the amount of floors it has, but in reality the club is very average.

We really enjoyed their ice bar! It must be even better in hot summer. The staff also told us that the ice bar will undergo complete reconstruction in upcoming weeks so we'll check it out in summer again. Great music, fair drinks, no complaints.

there arent much places operating in Prague in January as it is off season for them I guess. So we ended up going to Karlovy both in daylight for their ice pub and in the evening for dancing and a show. Great experience both times. The place and everyone was super nice.
