Prague Ghosts and Legends of Old Town Walking Tour

209 reviews
Take a walk through the shadows of Prague on a haunted history tour that reveals the city’s sinister side. Follow a guide along the cobblestone lanes and through lamp-lit squares of the UNESCO-listed old town, passing by the sites of murders, crimes, alchemy, ghost sightings, and other unsolved mysteries. It's a spooky way to kick off an evening in one of the oldest parts of town.

My lovely wife and I visited this subterranean jazz club one evening during our trip to Prague. It's a tiny place with seating for maybe 30 people at a squeeze. When we visited there were probably around half that many, almost all of whom were foreigners. If you're looking for a happening jazz club packed with locals this, alas, is not it! The three guys on piano, double bass and drums put on a pretty good show but I'm not sure it was really worth the 200 Kč admission fee especially as one of my local pubs puts on better jazz outfits for free several times a week. I wouldn't return and I wouldn't recommend it.

I came here to have lunch with my girlfriend, we found that the food was really good and fairly cheap too. The waiter was really friendly and kind. Here you can find some good music as well as tasty food. We tried the goulash, the daily soup and the ceasar salad. Everything was good. I recommend the velvet beer which was amazing. Definitely worth it!

It's almost too small for what it's going on inside. The live music is almost bursting out of the cellar when it's played. Very intimate, yet everyone is real close to each other. Once in a lifetime experience, don't miss it when you're in Prague!

Small, dark, intimate. Exactly how a jazz club should be. It’s tiny so book before hand if you’re going on a busy evening. The staff are friendly and attentive and have a great sense of humour as I found when trying to pronounce the wine in the local lingo! There’s a bar upstairs for pre/drinks & a good menu of local foods. You can eat either upstairs or down while enjoying the music. Please note, this is not accessible for anyone with mobility issues as the Jazz bar is underneath the bar down some tight steps.
