Prague Ghosts and Legends of Old Town Walking Tour

209 reviews
Take a walk through the shadows of Prague on a haunted history tour that reveals the city’s sinister side. Follow a guide along the cobblestone lanes and through lamp-lit squares of the UNESCO-listed old town, passing by the sites of murders, crimes, alchemy, ghost sightings, and other unsolved mysteries. It's a spooky way to kick off an evening in one of the oldest parts of town.

Several locals told us we had to visit here to experience a classic beer hall with the freshest beer. Well the locals did not stear us wrong. Be sure to arrive at opening time in order to get a table which will likely shared with a local. Sit down and expect a fresh pilsner will be served shortly along with your beer marker paper. The place reeks of history all the way from the stuff on the wall to the men in control of the beer service. Be prepared that as soon as you finish your first beer a second will arrive without asking. This was quite an experience to say the least!

I have been here several times. This is where one can have one of the most unique beers in the world, many beer experts claim it to be the best. I won't tell you all the secrets, but it is a humble Czech pub, that many world dignitaries have been invited to. It is cozy and there's good food as well. Believe it or not, no matter how much beer you have, you are unlikely to have a hangover.

This old place is great, local and something for change if you're trying to find domestic pub experience. It's stuck in time with ambient but experience is always domestic and friendly! One waiter pretended to be rude but it's only mask :)

The Golden Tiger is the best place in Prague to understand and experience a true Prague beer pub/bar. You get the best tasting Pilsner in my opinion and some of the most delicious food as well. I recommend this place to all to try, but go early they fill up fast and also you share tables with other attendees.

Went on recommendation from a local to visit this traditional Czech bar/restaurant. Its busy, noisy and decor is traditional as it gets. Beer flows and is the feature of the resturant, a great place to stop and have a pint and watch the show. The food is pretty good but not the focus. Soon as you enter the Golden Tiger the bartender is right there pouring beer for the patrons. Its a great experience and if you have time drop for a pint and enjoy the show.
