Neighborhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

Came here for the photobooth! 70CZK for 4 photos presented in a black and white strip.
The cafe opens at midday and they don't seem bothered if you come in just to use the photobooth which is good.
Atmosphere inside seems pretty relaxed but it's warm down there!.

If you like live music then this is the best place to go in Prague. Every time I'm in the city I end up going here. Beer prices are standard for the city. You can get into the bar for free. There is a door charge for the music downstairs, but it's only normally a few quid (in British money). Bands are normally good and there's a great atmosphere.

Popped in for a beer on my last night in Prague after having a great trip! Very rude staff member when I said no to a tip after he poured my partner and I a beer. He told me I was rude… I can understand that maybe the tipping culture maybe different to England but I don’t believe you should be made to feel like you have to. I personally work in hospitality and would never ask someone to tip after pouring them a beer… as a basic task… pouring a beer is part of your job and only if the customer feels they would like to tip, that is down to them… not for the bar staff to tell you you have to. not impressed and felt very awkward when drinking my beer afterward.

I’ve recently visited Rock Cafe in Prague and was quite disappointed by the service, they were unpleasant, rude and generally non helpful. Definitely look out for this!

Was here for The Lafontaines gig on 18/10/19 and I have to admit that this venue is pretty incredible. Upstairs bar and downstairs hall are both brilliant and the sound was awesome. On the night all 3 bands were awesome. Highly recommend this venue

After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, my boyfriend and I went here on a Saturday night. The bar is very basic without much atmosphere. We stayed for a couple of drinks and during the whole time there wasn't a single rock song planned, just pop. The drinks were cheap so it's not a bad place for a few drinks but isn't what it says on the tin.

Excellent bar with live performance(s). Great choice of draft beers. Extreme clean toilets for a rock bar. Friendly staff.
