If you want jazz, this is a great choice

Was here every night during my short stay in Prague. Small room so there is no bad seats. Decent drink selections. Not much food to offer -- a few packaged snacks.

I really loved my visit to this little jazz club. It is small and intimate with great staff and an interesting mix of shows which are well priced. Drinks are reasonable here too. The show we saw was good, but not outstanding and we left at the second break (after about 2 hours of the 3 hour show).

We bought tickets in advance for a Sunday night jazz session, which reserves a table for you. Just drop by the club and pick up your tickets ahead of time since the club is small and tables limited. The club feels like being inside a cave with good acoustics and a warm atmosphere that felt very cozy. The group was... More

Spent a wonderful night there, great musicians! Booking in advance is required because the room is small but very warm and intimate. The sound is always good, and the service exemplar. The staff were friendly. Absolutely recommend!!

We visited on Saturday evening. Greeted by friendly staff and taken to our seats, which we had reserved. The music was incredible, the staff were friendly and the crowd was enthusiastic. A great setting and a great club. If you like jazz you'll love it, if you don't you probably will too. Like most things in Prague great value for... More

We went 'by chance' on a monday evening, paid the entrance fee (250CZK), and were gently placed in the club by the waitress, as the concert just started. The place is cosy but rough (an old cellar), but sound is incredibly good for small bands. They played for 3 times 45', a good range of Jazz standards, with a Sax... More

You may want to call ahead and reserve a table, because this place is popular. We came an hour before the show, and while we were first, only a few tables were left without a reservation. The remaining ones filled up in the next thirty minutes. We were lucky to hit a night with a very professional six-piece band playing... More

Very atmospheric venue in the heart of the city- not that you would feel it. Intimate setting and superb musicians. The night we were there the house band was excellent but the song choices were geared to the Jazz novice with reinterpretations of some popular songs by Sting and the Beatles. That said excellent musicians. Excellent value and highly recommend.

A friend had mentioned this jazz club to me so thought we would seek it out; situated just off the Old Town Square and well worth a visit. The club is downstairs in a 13th century building; they have different acts each night who play from 9-12 in 2 sets although the club is open until 1am. Costs about 250ck... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
