An insightful historic tour. a straight up approach and a few giggles. I now have a good understanding of how the Czech Republic came to be the lovely nation it is today. and how Prague managed to remain such a outstandingly beautiful city. if you have little understanding of the history, you will walk away with a new found respect for the Czech people and this beautiful place. Joined the free walking tour and was quite excited that it was being done by a local (unlike many other cities where there are usually Australians, Brits, Americans etc doing them). But a little disappointed by the amount of things covered in the tour and the depth/breadth of information provided by the tour guide. That said, she gave great local tips for food and other things to do! …

Went for the free walking tour, excellent guide, very informative and knowledgeable. Only wish we were able to give a better tip, didn't realise how tight our cash situation was.

I decided last minute to pull myself out of bed (after spending most of the night on a train getting to Prague) in order to do the free walking tour. I'm really glad that I did, it was by far worth it. My guide, Filip, did a great job of showing us the main city center, telling quirky stories about important churches and buildings, and then giving a really compelling short history on Prague and the Czech Republic in general. He also gave good tips at the end on where to go and what to do and see, so try and do the tour first thing.…
