About Running In Prague
Founded by Martin Opolecky, a passionate athlete and jogging enthusiast, our private running tours welcome keen runners from all over the world, gives them an opportunity to explore the heart of Europe in a healthy and eco-friendly tour.We offer a number of jogging tours in Prague, both for experienced and inexperienced runners, who would like to combine sightseeing with a nice feeling of being fit. Running tours are a new way to explore a city during your holidays or business trip with your running shoes on. A running guide will take you through the tourist center of Prague as well as through less known places. The center of Prague and surrounding places are not far from each other, so you will discover more interesting places than you ever thought of in a very short time. Our tours start at your hotel where we will pick you up, or in the center of Prague, and a tour normally takes 60-90 minutes. The duration depends on your pace and the number of stops we will make during the tour (if any).We try to arrange everything for your full satisfaction, so the tours are going to be strictly private for you and your company, so we can arrange your pick up better, keep the pace that fits your running experience and personalize the tour so that it will be interesting for you.The time schedule of tours is of your choice, but we highly recommend the morning hours. Is there a better start of a new day than to do something for your body, see Prague with no crowds, be alone at the Charles Bridge and then come back to your hotel take a shower and get to regular breakfast?

I went for a guided run with Ondra on my first morning in Prague and i'm so glad I did! I was a bit apprehensive as I although I work out regularly, I don't often run, especially on the streets. Ondra completely tailored the 13K run to suit me and went a pace I was comfortable with. Starting at 7am meant that the city was so peaceful and calm, the views were beautiful too. I was on my own, so really appreciated the chat with Ondra, and also the fact that he stopped to take photos of me on request! He even followed up with a text with his recommendations on where to get traditional food and the best beer to buy :) Will definitley do this again when I visit Prague next time.

Our guide, Andrew, was excellent! Sightseeing combined with running and a couple of photo stops, provided a great city centre activity. I am not as serious a runner as my husband, so Andrew tailored the speed of the run to suit - perfect!

I took this running tour back in August 2019 with Andrew in order to have a glance of the most interesting places around the downtown of Prague. He picked me up at the entrance of my hotel early at 6.30am as I required and we took the tram to head the centre straightaway. Just looking at the record that I still keep in my device: the whole run was 10.5 km in 1h, but considering the go and return it more likely took us about 1h 15min. For those who still think whether it is worth it, let me tell you that it totally is. On my route with Andrew we got to see Letna Park, the Castle, the sorroundings of the Strahov Monastery, Charles Bridge, Malá Strana and we ended up at Staré Město. Even though I was my 3rd day in Prague I still had the opportunity to discover places I had not seen yet, especially certain spots from which you are able to enjoy such breathtaking views of Prague. Andrew is such a great guy, we had a nice talk about different stuff during the tour. He showed to be in fit while giving his explanations about Prague which were pretty accurate by the way. I asked him to take me some pictures as I did not carry my mobile phone with me and he also managed to get my return ticket at the Central train station since the vendor machine did not work properly. 100% recommended!

I really wanted to go for a run while spending a weekend in Prague with my husband but didn't want to abandon him for too long!! I managed to book a one hour tour from my hotel at 8am. Andrew met me downstairs and off we went. i had done a cycling tour the day before and some of the grounds we covered were similar so we ended up chatting about this and that!! As you do... All in all a really lovely route, a lot of it through some fabulous parks. Great views too. Nice way to see the city and justify another one of the delicious dark beers you get in Prague!
