Our walking tour of some of old Prague's most beautiful sights was very enjoyable and informative. Betty has very good knowledge of the history and folklore that made our day with her even more interesting. Highly recommend.

We spent 7 hours today with Betty of Prague Steps and it was the perfect way to see this amazing city. Betty grew up in Prague and has an art and history background. She has also lived in Sydney Australia and other parts of the world, so she brings both local knowledge and a global perspective to her tour.

We saw it all. From the little alleys and ancient churches to the magnificent gardens and Prague Castle. Her comments were a combination of personal experiences living through the revolution of 1989 and the many changes that have followed, and her extensive knowledge of the city's art and architecture.

This wasn't a canned tour. There wasn't a rehearsed speech or practiced jokes. It was personal, conversational and accessible, tailored to our interests as we walked along.

Prague is a city of multiple hidden treasures, and you can't really see it on a bus or in a car. Even the Segways you see around are more annoyance than convenience. This is a place that is built for walking. So put on some comfortable shoes, bring along a bottle of water, and take a walk with Betty. You won't regret it!

We spent a wonderful, informative day with Betty. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, she customized the tour to our interests. One on one, she was able to show us and explain the best sights of Prague, from the Old Town, Lesser Town, Prague Castle, the Jewish Quarter and more. Highly recommend!

For many years I wanted to bring my wife to Prague as I had been before and found it one of the most fascinating cities in Europe. The first time I visited this incredible city, I just wandered around on my own but felt there was still so much history to know about. This time I decided to hire a guide. I found Betty on Internet and I must say it was the best investment I did on this trip. We started early morning as we were eager to discover the city through the eyes of a local expert. Her knowledge and sympathy brought us to places which we would have never found on our own. I, and my wife so enjoyed every single moment and this time I felt that finally I was starting to get deep into Prague’s fascinating history. The day we return surely we will let Betty and once again be guided by the hand because, for lack of time, so much was said but so much was still left to be seen. We recommend Betty as a guide because she can bring to life the great story and stories of the past. Thank you dear Betty!

Prague is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Historically architecture, buildings, and statues are must see. The city is also very clean. Prices are normally, Czechish cuisine is also very good.

At the top of the steps is a stunning lookout over Prague. The red tops of the buildings create an unbelievable view and great photo opportunity. Can't miss this part of Prague.

My 2 days with Betty @ Prague Steps were fun and educational. It was so easy to contact her. Just went to her Facebook page and pressed the send e-mail button. She got back to me quickly and an agenda was picked and scheduled. You also could call her as the phone number is listed too.

I have been coming to Prague since 2002, have been to this lovely city 7 times, 6 weeks to 3 mos. at a time. I have seen many beautiful sites on my own, but Betty came up with suggestions that I had never seen or heard of. The Strahov Library was amazing, and because I was with Betty we got to walk INTO the library, not just view it from the doorway behind the rope. Also what I liked, Betty stays current on exhibitions that are offered and continually changing.

Betty took the time to answer my questions, it really was a give and take relationship. I believe she loved watching the history and art come alive for me. I strongly suggest and recommend Betty. Each tour is unique to the client's wishes, interests and physical capabilities. Plus, Betty @ Prague Steps is a delightful person, easy to be with and very informed about the history of this amazing city and country.

I was on a two-week tour of Eastern Europe with a school group and as the title suggests, after having many tour guides Betty was--hands down--the absolute best. We hired her for 6 hours and she tailored the tour to our interests and was flexible throughout. She took us to some fabulous off-the-beaten path restaurants and many sites that are not as well known in Prague (which is what we asked for). She was kind, fun, and we laughed a lot! I felt like I made a new friend. Hire Betty!! It's so much richer when a local guide as awesome as she is shows you around!
