Exciting and entertaining

I was part of a spooky tour of Prague at night. It was about ghosts, alchemy and old stories told in Prague. It was exciting, to be honest, more exciting than I could have originally imagined. It was just very refreshing to see how many beautiful and exciting places you can reach on foot. Our costumed tour guide Levin conducted this German-speaking tour and really brought us closer to things on this spooky tour that fascinate and teach one or the other to shudder. The way he describes and tells things is simply captivating. I would be really happy if I saw him again as a tour guide on another city tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience something exciting and special in Prague at night.

Alchemy and Mysteries of Prague Castle

This was an amazing tour with the lovely Rodmika. The tour was incredibly well done, very interesting and very extensive. Prague by night is simply magical and my tour guide knew so many interesting facts about the city and made it truly special with the little details, like the amphitheatre steps.

Entertaining Guide, Fun tour Learned a lot about the History of Prague:) Highly Recommend!

The tour we booked was for McGees Ghosts & Legends of Old Town 7:30pm Tour. I guide's name was Carl. He seemed very knowledgeable of the town's history and the details, from dates to names seemed fluent and second nature to him:) His accent was awesome and he had a great sense of humor as well. We learned a lot about the city's history, local folklore and legends and it was all together a very well rounded and enjoyable event:) Highly recommend!

Great experience in Old Town!

Great experience in Old Town! A fun way to tour the Old Town and listen to the legends and the history of Prague. Our guide, Jim, was a spectacular storyteller who peppered the tales with penalty of warmth, personality, and humour. The walking tour is about 1h30 mins, easy walking pace, and lots of stops; family friendly. Great value for money from a knowledgeable guide- five stars, would recommend!

Ghost storys about Prague

My most favorite part of the tour was without question the Tour guide Levin. He spoke in a good devoloped and elaborated German which made him kinda catchy to listen to. He was in a nice flow of telling the ghost storys and integrating the audiance. Also very remarkable is that he was able to tell some jokes aside during he still fit the atmosphere. I think it could be added that he was always friendly and open to questions (even if my questions were maybe a bit specific or more about the instruments of torture) . I belive that these things about the tour guide were the reason why I had so much fun with the tour and also gain much information about Prague. Normally I had not liestened to whatever one of the tour guides said during my Prague trip, but in this Tour I had the fun I expect to have when I go on a Tour. (Little supplement, He was also open for a souvenir photo :) )

Prague Old Town, River Cruise and Prague Castle Sightseeing Tour Including Lunch - ask for Allen!

Our guide, “Allen”, was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He made Prague come to life. I cannot recommend him highly enough. The lunch was great. I encourage you to get the dumpling stuffed with braised ham and Czech sauerkraut covered in crispy fried onions. Yummy! Retta at the McGee’ Entertainments was also wonderful. My Son and I were caught in AM traffic and missed the beginning of our tour. Retta called Allen, called us back and directed us to him. They were just wonderful. We’re so appreciative. We only had one full day in Prague and this tour was the prime event we’d planned. The boat tour was also good although you must get a forward facing seat (half of them face backwards). If you get stuck backwards, as I did, the orientation of the narration is completely thrown off as there are constant right vs. left references to various sites that are behind you but the guide describes as if you were looking forward. In summary, Allen and McGee Entertainments are aces; get the ham-stuffed dumpling for lunch; don’t get stuck sitting backwards on the River (actually canal) cruise. This tour was worth every Euro.

Night Tour with Plami

We did a Ghost and Alchemy walking tour of Prague at night.The tour was three hours and covered a lot of ground - it was a great walk, and we were prepared with handwarmers and thick coats. We explored the city and learned about historical figures and legends.

Plami was our guide, and she was AMAZING. Incredibly knowledgeable about the city, friendly, and enthusiastic. She knew all about the history of the city, the legends, and was able to answer all of our questions. She was very kind and helpful with directions as well.

I highly recommend taking this tour of Prague, but more importantly taking it with Plami!

Was not what we were expecting. Wanted a ghost and Legend tour, got just legends and didn’t get to go inside any buildings. Just walked around. Most of the time we couldn’t hear our guide, she was soft spoken and the street noise drowned her out. Very disappointed

We are very sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations. The tour does not include any indoor areas, but we want to point out that this is clearly stated in the tour description. The tour is done by telling several legends, some of them including ghost encounters, some of them focusing on murders, executions etc. We believe that it is important to get some background and historical context during the tour, not just talk about ghosts. We are sorry that you could not hear our guide, we thank you for your feedback, we have ensured that she will have a microphone for her next tour. We hope you enjoyed your stay in Prague and we hope that you will consider giving us another chance on your next visit.

Fantastic tour for Alchemy & Mysteries of the Prague Castle

We had David as our tour guide for the Alchemy & Mysteries of the Prague Castle and it was not only a highlight of our trip, it was informative, fun and enjoyable going around the Jewish quarter and the Prague castle learning about the history, politics, comedy and pride that encompasses Prague from a natives point of view. This was my third time visiting Prague and I learned so much I didn’t know on this tour. I took notes and will be exploring a lot more about what he had to share. I’ll definitely be booking another tour when I come back to visit. A very eye opening and engaging tour. David has a wealth of knowledge to share. I highly recommend this tour. Alchemy-Prague Castle Walking Evening Tour

The evening walking Alchemy/castle history tour was better than I could have hoped for.
Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and made the whole experience fascinating and fun.
She shared many entertaining and historical stories.
There’s was even an opportunity for the group to enjoy a pivo. The 3 hours was a surprising delight!
Highly recommend for people who enjoy walking, learning, and laughing.
