Though it is a challenge to visit due to the limited hours of being open, plus finding the entrance (through the 3rd Arch from the Left), it is well worth a visit. We were told that the buildings in front of the Church were encouraged simply because it was Hussite Church! One wood carved panel of the crucifixion was very... More

Free entry with donation for upkeep. Well worth a visit and although you should not take photos inside there are wonderful towers to photograph from the outside.

Worth a quick peek inside. Photos weren't allowed, so I don't really remember the interior. The exterior is beautiful

Definitely worth a visit. We didn't go inside but from the photos it looks like its worth it. You walk past it anyway whilst in the old town square so its easy to get a quick photo for your memories.

The Church is Iconic and he spires tower over the Old Town Square. It is open in the Mornings and Afternoons, closed for lunch and there are concerts held in the evenings, throughout the year. Entry is free with a donations box to help with the upkeep of the church. Photography is not allowed and the wardens will remind you,... More

This beautiful cathedral looks over the old town square and is probably the most picturesque feature there. It resembles Cinderella's castle. the beauty is in the exterior, you will find hundreds of people taking selfies with this "castle" in the old town sqaure

Probably the most iconic sight in Prague and a good landmark if you go wandering from the square. It looks good by day but even better when floodlight at night. Inside is interesting too so don't just dismiss it as a photo shot.

It is said Walt Disney got his inspiration for the Cinderella Castle from Týn Church ... believe it. Gorgeous on the inside and ever-so present in the Square and city views abound. The church is a presence in Prague. If you go to Prague Old Town Square you will see it. You will see it from Prague Castle, Petrin Hill,... More

This was the first reason of our trip. This church is one of the most beautiful in the world with its lacy towers, like the fabled castle of fairies... To find the entrance is a little bit difficult, but if you finally get in, you will see the wonderful interior of the church with many gold and breathtaking art works.... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
