Although it would be hard not to see this amazing structure in the square, you'd be surprised how many people walk by and not in. You really have to see the inside, it's fantastic, and right there.

Beautifully designed church. Don't miss it. Pay close attention and notice that one of the towers is a bit wider than the other :P

The lady of the tyn church we found through a small passageway it was closed on Sunday so we peeked through the windows...as we had time we went back on the Tuesday and glad we did it didn't take much time 10 minutes but the gold and statues inside were quite amazing as well as the organs and the huge... We loved this church and took many pictures. The other buildings were there first and they build the church on the old square.. The entrance is a bit hard to find since you have to go through a passage way leading from the square or from the side. We would have loved to go inside, bu unable at this time.

Very beautiful, loved it. Found myself a little spot and sat down to admire the exterior for a bit. Similar and yet different compared to other European cathedrals.

What I loved about Prague is how easy you can walk around all its attractions in two-three days. I loved the city and the history of it, the Kostel Panny Tynem is a must see (you'll see it going to anyplace in Prague) and it's in the center of the city. I felt that this building is the heart of... More

Another must when in Prague. Closed Mondays as are many cathedrals. Also, no photos or video inside.

This was the image i first fell in love with when I first visited this most gorgeous of cities over 20 years ago and although I go to Prague once a year I am still so impressed by this building. The beautiful twin tower's look awesome and are along with Charles Bridge the two most identifiable landmarks in Prague. Located... More

The Church, as explained by our very knowledgeable guide, happens to a Catholic Church. You will notice that there are two spires...one is bigger than the other. Well, in the era before equality, the women were considered a tad lesser than the men. Hence, the spires represent Adam and Eve. No marks for guessing which one is Adam. The Church... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
