Best zoo in Europe! :)

Amazing, magical zoo! The park is very huge, we think so it is a full-day program (about 4 hours without a child :D ).

This is probably the nicest zoo I have visited. The animal habitats are large and well kept and the animals seem to live well. The zoo is on a steep hillside with two main levels. You can walk the hill between them but also opt for the chairlift... The are several nice restaurants and cafes with good food at very... More

This zoo really surprised me. I have been in different zoos in Europe with my Family (in Finland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Holland etc) and I wasn't expecting that much from this zoo. But it was more than I or anybody in my family expected. The overall area of the zoo is very large and even if we spent more than... More

We spent about three hours wandering around the zoo and enjoyed it a lot. The drinks and ice cream were reasonably priced in the zoo grounds which isn't always the case. I'd like to see more signage in multiple languages as this did make it a little more difficult for us to find our way but it's not a major... More

The zoo is huge but because it was a hot day, many of the animals weren't out but hiding in the shade. The best part of the zoo were the gorilla, giraffe and elephant exhibits. They have baby elephants and gorillas born at the zoo recently so it was fun to watch. If you take A metro then catch a... More

We spent a whole day at the zoo and saw a lot of wonderful animals, had a lovely lunch and walked around some more after that.

Located on the side of a hill, the Zoo is best explored by taking the road train to the top and meandering down hill. The polar bears are a great attraction and there are many animals in easy to view enclosures. If travelling from Central Prague take the tram 17 to the stop past Nadrazi Holesovice Metro Station then catch... More

One of the best zoos in the world! Animal enclosures are well taken care of. Animals look happy and almost too groomed. Made me very happy. :) This is the level I would like all zoos to operate. You can see animals also when they are not in the main closure but you still don't feel like you would be... More

A large spacious zoo, where the animals appear to be well looked after, and can wander in and out of shelter as they please. Its a long walk around the whole zoo, with some hills, but there is a chair lift if you're feeling adventurous. This zoo is involved in conservation and breeding programmes. I particularly enjoyed seeing Prezwalski Horses... More

Wow. What a fantastic zoo. Came last year and again new things to see. Went up the chair lift this year from the bottom of the zoo to the top it was great felt like a big kid. Busy busy place but big enough and you didn't feel on top of each other. We got to the zoo via a... More
