Overview
More
The most significant square of historical Prague, it was founded in the 12th century and has been witness to many historical events. In addition to the Old Town Hall and the Church of Our Lady before Týn, the square is dominated by the Baroque Church of St Nicholas, the Rococo Kinský Palace, the Gothic House at the Stone Bell and the monument to Jan Hus. In the pavement of the square are memorial stones marking the execution of 27 Czech lords in 1621, and the Prague meridian.

It is really crowded. Nice but you cannot really enjoy it due to the crowed. Moreover, the astronomical clock is under reparation which was a bummer for us.

There’s lots to see, drink and eat around this square, which is the most famous in Prague. All four sides have a different feel. The town hall astronomical clock is currently under wraps, which was disappointing. The wraps come off in a month or so....More

Fun to see the parade of shops equal to Rodeo drive in the US. However if you dont like shopping but like admiring architecture then the numerous amount of different types of architecture can be seen within the square.

Lots to do and see, quaint shops down back streets, loads of restaurants to eat in. This is also a must but you will need a few hours for exploring.

One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the
medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is

The fabulous St. Thomas Church (Josefska 28/8) definitely has services on Saturdays. Normally at 12:15 and 18:00 in English. Check their website for more details on which chapel, etc.

Never use anyone offering it on streets, they would steal money from you. Always check exchange rate of the exchange office. I personally change money only in banks. Enjoy your trip.
