Old Town Square is a must see if you time is limited in Prague, the architecture is awesome, the square also is the home of the world famous Astronomical clock.

Now who can avoid being in Prague and not coming to the Old Town Square. One of the best city squares in Europe, complete with a clock tower, a church, a palace and a town hall. Always filled with crowds, great to sink in to the atmosphere

Sparkling with lights, all the market stalls with crafts and gifts, foot and wines make it a festive must. A bit crowded after dark but all part of the atmosphere.

Went whilst they had the Christmas market up. Stunning area. So much history and different eras of architecture on show. Very safe and clean city. A perfect place to go to get into the Christmas spirit.

Old town square is the shining jewel of the historical squares. But the Christmas market is the worst market I ever seen. Fully packed with people, no place to drink your wine, no place to discuss with friends, long long crowd for everything, all stalls sell the SAME stuff / one type of disgusting mulled wine from industry tanks, one... Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
