About
The Czech Republic is famous for its beautifull architecture. But there are not only the treasures which are visible on first sight on the streets. Beneath the town is an other city. The one from before.

We did the communism tour (which isn't listed here). This included an explanation about what life was like for the people of prague during the soviet regime. It also includes you visiting a nuclear shelter that was constructed in event of an atomic explosion. It was very interesting and the lady (which name I sadly didn't catch) brought the history and cultural aspects to life in a somewhat sarcastic but also very genuine way Absolutely loved it, money well spent, 10/10 recommend it!

We didn’t find this one under Things To Do on Trip Advisor, so glad our hotel recommended it. Very informative and interesting. Our guide was great with lots of good historical information on the city. Enjoyed the underground locations!

I have been to Prague multiple times (and have taken countless tours) I know the history, but our guides' knowledge was really impressive, (a history major at the university). The tour took place, even though there were only two of us and she was not feeling well. We went to several places and she could explain in detail all of the past.

I booked to go on the 'underground tour of Prague'
Reading the description I expected to be spending most of the time exploring rooms and tunnels under Prague.

In fact we probably spent 15mins of a 1 hour tour in the cellars of two buildings!!

Most of the tour was spent above ground walking around Prague. During the walking around streets the guide said nothing.

She stopped 3-4 times while walking and spoke for a 3-4 minutes.

I was in a group of 8 people and two others commented on the lack of underground experiences.

The trip cost 400 czech crowns. I suggest you would be better spending this in one of the 'underground' cellar restaurants!!

See the details in the picture. All adverts say similar or the same. I would avoid!!

This tour don't have nothing really interesting. I lost 1 hour and 13 euro. Is much better you enjoy the city by yourself.

As mentioned in many reviews this tour is mostly above ground since the "underground" is basically excavated houses that are not connected. There is no real tour of Old Town included and the information and most of the time is spend following the tour guide from once location to the next without any talking. There are so many interesting sites to see in Prague so no need to spend time on this one!

While the tour guide was pleasant, this tour is poor. There were only three guests on our tour and probably with good reason. It was over an hour and a half with two sites only underground. These were of little interest and minimal historical significance. Yes, it was explained that the levels of the city have changed with flood mitigation but aart from this there was very little historical matter. The rest of the hour plus was spent walking around a number of sites of even less significance. I'm annoyed we spent time and money on this, don't waste yours.

The tour was rather interesting. You do get a lot of information about the medieval history of Prague. Our guide was Jitka, she did a great job. The tour actually was quite a bit longer than advertised because she explained a lot of things on detail, had time for questions and she made it rather funny as well along the way.
I do however wish there would have been more to see underground, I did expect a little bit more but it was a good tour nontheless

The tour was very interesting, a different perspective on Pragues history, makes you look at the city in a different way. Stephan was knowledgeable and energetic, delivering his talk with humour. I would recommend.
The starting point was difficult to find. Look for the square near the Hard Rock Cafe just down from the famous clock, The No 2 is on a blue plaque and you walk up about 10 yards up the alley between two columns.

First, we lucked out with the tour time, at 5p, we had a private tour just for the two of us! Caroline was very knowledgable about Prague and informative. Learned lots about the city you wouldn't have seen any other way. If you have just over hour in your schedule, join the tour.
