A lovely little antique shop hidden away from the main tourist area. it specialises in vintage textiles and accessories, but you can find other items there including vintage china. I discovered it a couple of months ago, when I popped in to enquire about a specific vintage item. It was not in stock at the time, but when it recently... More

Have visited this wonderful shop on three different trips to Prague and am always delighted to see how beautifully Dita chooses and displays her amazing inventory. Certainly worth seeking out and perusing this lovely antique store, especially if you love textiles, beautiful hand work and beautiful things.

Antiques Ahasver provides delights each time I visit. Organized and full of treasures -- clothing, linens, jewelry, small home items, and photographs. I tend to focus on the fabric items, and charming and knowledgeable owner provides a small stool to allow you to sit and go through a stack of neat, clean and well pressed linens while you admire the... I found this spot only recently even though my uni is just around the corner. I love it! Found amazing gloves and linen there, folklore dresses. Very nice ceramics and jewellery, Ms. Dita, the owner is very helpfull and tells you the "story behind". Great!

I was lucky to visit Antique Ahasver on Sunday and found it a beautiful little shop filled with some extremely well priced vintage items. I was helped by a lovely lady (who might have been the owner) who was really friendly and helped me pick out some great items.

Was looking for a gift for my wife. They specialize in linens but had jewelry, clothing, tableware and other. It's a small shop but the owner take special care in what see selects. Very helpful and she was able to give a lot of information on the items. I bought a mid 1800's tea cup and saucer. I would return.

We had stopped in on our way back to the river and were captivated by the wonderful selection of antiques on display. The owner is very friendly but does not hassle you if you don't want to chat. He is also a photographer and has a few of his pictures for sale, which are really good scenes of Prague. There... More

Adorable vintage / antique sundries store tucked on a quiet corner in Mala Strana. The owner (+ her dad and baby boy) were charming as can be. They've got all manner of small antique items, from very well priced linens and table wear to sculptures, jewlery, clothing, tabletop items, artwork. Pricing was very fair. Although it is a small shop,... More

We foud the shop upon walking in Mala Strana and were enchanted by its contents and also by Dita, manageresse and owner, who is an ecxeptionally nice lady. We bought there some linen napkins and returned the next day to look for more. We have not been disappointed, as found a beautiful very fairly priced table cloth from the 1st... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
