My girlfriend and I visited PREkolo the last full day of our vacation and it was an amazing adventure. This was the first time experienced electric bikes and it gives you a unique way to see and enjoy the best points and places in Prague in a special way. The stuff was very helpful and friendly. Everyone should go for it…

It was the first time I used electric bike and i really liked it. The bike only "helps" you, so you still need to cycle, but its much easier when youre going up the hill and much faster on flat ground. The stuff was friendly, service great, and it was surprisingly cheap. Theres a nice cycling route along the river right in front of the bike rental. Or you can cycle in the city centre, but for that, the traffic seemed to be too busy. All in all Id definitelly suggest you to visit Prekolo.

We have ordered by phone two bikes in PREkolo for a weekend. The price was very reasonable so we looked forward to try the electric bikes on the road. How surprised I was when I came into the shop. The two electric bikes waiting for us were without mudguards and without any light. One of them had totally worn down tyre. I refused to take over the bike in such condition. I got another one with a broken display. I also have got a brand new light in a box. Later I discovered they were without batteries and not matching the bikes. In order not to spoil the weekend I took the e-bikes without mudguards and lights. First day we rode for about 30 kilometres. The electric bike was very easy to handle and it was real fun to ride it. The worse shock waited for us when we wanted to recharge the batteries. We have found that one of the bikes received wrong charger. Since we were unable to charge this bike we had to cancel the trip planned for Sunday. For a spoiled weekend we got a price reduction of 8EUR. WARNING: The electric bikes offered by PREkolo are cheap but obviously not always well maintained and not suitable for a road-use.

This little bike rental offers renting electric bikes at ok rates (I think it was 800 CZK for 4 hours and you have to pay a deposit of another 2500 CZK per bike though it is all doable by card so you don't need to carry masses of cash). The place is not as central as you'd wish but it's near 'the dancing house' which you might want to see anyway. The bikes are truly amazing. It feels so much easier pedalling with the aid of an electric engine. The bikes feel a bit heavier than normal ones but it's fine. There is a cycling path right in front of the rental but the centre of the city is not all that cyclist friendly. You get by if you're careful. You have to pay a little extra to rent a helmet with the bike, which surprised me, but I think it's worth it. Altogether a nice alternative way of seeing a city whilst trying something quite exciting and fun!

Me and a group of friends rented a few e-bikes for a day. We were afraid that a day would be too long, but in the end we were glad. E-bikes were a bit heavy, but when you first realize the power and speed that the booster provides, you know that the few extra pounds of weight are quite worth it! Its really great, especially in Prague which is quite hilly. You cover a great area of the city in just one day, with regular pit stops for beer, of course :). I really got used to the booster quickly, the riding was almost effortless and very quick. The only downside - the cobblestones in Prague make it sometimes hard to ride smoothly... Staff was friendly with very good english. We made a reservation by phone - no problem. They said they will soon offer guided tours, that might be great for people who dont like to read in maps and want to get to know the city with a local.
