So much fun! Really liked it. I went with a friend, Jim was our tourguide. He really knew where he was talking about and we saw Some beautifull places.

We have rented and ridden bikes (tandem and mountain) in several European and North American cities, all of which went fabulously well because of the passion the proprietors have for cycling and exploring. City Bike Prague, by contrast, is ill-suited to provide any services to the public. They confirmed a 24-hour tandem reservation on line and then changed it at pickup (necessitating a major change in the family’s plans). They rented us a bike whose chain broke after 5 minutes of use. They closed early that day and did not answer any calls or emails. When I finally reached them the following morning, they claimed that the flat repair kit could be used to fix the chain. When I checked the flat repair kit (which did not have the tools for chain repair) and called back, they admitted that the kit could not be used to repair the chain. (They told me that “when business is bad, we close early”. I’m not surprised that business is bad for them.) Although our bike adventure had to be postponed, City Bike Prague refused to give us more than a short extension on the rental. They also refused to accept credit cards in person, claiming on one day that the reader was broken and claiming today that they just don’t accept cards. All of this despite having accepted a card for our online rental. When paired with the condescending attitude (especially of the woman who was working at their storefront on 21-22 June), CBP is a must-avoid for anyone who wants a positive and enjoyable urban biking experience in Prague.

First of all, the day my friends and I were supposed to arrive in Prague and have the bike tour was rainy all day so we asked the company if we could move our booking to the next day and they made it happen! So easy. Secondly, our guide did her job well! I can't remember her name (sorry!) but I know that she is originally from the U.S. (I want to say in the Midwest, maybe Michigan?). She came out to Prague because she loved the city and you could see that by the way she loved to explain the city and tell us its history. We made lots of stops so it wasn't too strenuous but the bike tour was nice because we covered a lot of Prague in a short period of time. We took a small but much-needed break at a cute cafe where I had the best hot chocolate of my life, my one friend had amazing mulled wine while the other friend had delicious ginger tea. All of three of us had a yummy gingerbread cookie too. Not very expensive! It was right next to the fountain of the two statues facing each other and peeing!! And the statues were next to a museum of its sculptor/artist. I and my friends were fortunate to be able to visit Prague as the Czech Republic celebrated 100 years of independence! Seeing different events reflected in the town on this bike tour was such a cool feeling (we were in the city center and saw a huge queue of people lined up to try to buy specially minted coins to celebrate the 100 year anniversary). Pretty much all of the main sites we wanted to see were on this bike tour such as the Charles Bridge, Old Prague Square, Astronomical clock, Prague castle, churches, Jewish quarter, John Lennon wall, and so much more! Our guide even gave us a lot of nice recommendations for local food, drinks, and museums if we had more time. I loved doing the bike tour on a nice day but you should do it early on in your trip because it can give you a good perspective of the city and help you plan out what you'd like to see more or less of. Love Prague and I loved this bike company!

They provide not only a great service, but they have a really friendly staff! They even helped me giving me a box so I could ship my bike abroad!

Our guide Naomi provided us with an exciting and informative cycle tour of Prague. We so enjoyed the city tour that we went back to take on the Castle tour. Naomi has done a lot of preparation and was able to give us some knowledgeable people insight into the historical and wartime events. The bikes were good quality and the tours were well planned to avoid traffic and to provide lots of photo opportunies. We think Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Thank you Naomi!👍
