Neighborhood: Malá Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

I have ordered crystal three different times throughout the years. I just received glasses with the Primavel Palms motif in green. The service, the shipping and timeliness of everything is superb. And the glassware is gorgeous! I use it daily and never tire of the beauty of the designs and colors.
I thank everyone involved at Artel for making our lives more beautiful!

Found this wonderful little shop on our recent trip to Prague with the most gorgeous crystal. The selection was fabulous. With so many beautiful pieces it was hard to choose! We ended up selecting 2 small bowls. The color of the glass and carving really stood out. The service was excellent and each item was carefully wrapped and boxed for travel. I would highly recommend this shop for a lovely memory of Prague.

Artel is an amazing confluence of traditional Czech crystal craftsmanship and the best in modern glass design. My wife and I stumbled in this shop by accident and found to our amazement a glass display like no other in Prague.

Using a very clever catalog we were able to pick shape, color and design for a set of cocktail glasses that Artel will make and ship to us in the US. We also bought a glorious bowl in a design featuring crows that is a knock out.

We run an art gallery and we know good stuff when we see it. Artel is exceptional!

Dear Fahad, Thank you for your query. Unfortunately at this time ARTEL does not have a whatsapp number for our business. You can, however, visit our website to both shop online and to see our most current catalogue. Should you need any further assistance please do not hesitate to reach out to us again either by email or on tripadvisor. With kindest regards, Karen Feldman Founder - Director

Hand-made design crystal from Czech Republic and so much more. Something very different from the many glass shops that abound in Prague. If you are looking for something unique, timeless and bequtiful to look at when you get home shop here. Fabulous designs and colour choices. Also, the shops sell jewellery from a range of designers and the price points are good - some very reasonable to more expensive. Check out the other gifts in the shop, ranging from the useful to the quirky. I will miss browsing the shop when I leave Prague later this year.

Artel....both locations are truly divine places to shop. The items on display for sale are true finds worldwide and the glass that is designed by Ms. Feldman put's Moser, Baccarat, and all the rest to shame. If you are looking for exquisite glass that is beautifully designed its your one stop shop! Also....a wonderful place to find gifts for people that have everything. Recently, I got a huge Gold Glitter Bunny there that serves as a fabulous Easter/Spring Decoration, but my house is literally littered with Artel glass everywhere and everyone that walks in wants to know...."Where on Earth did you buy this bowl?" Of course I say....proudly....ARTEL.

I was shopping in Artel store close to four season hotel in October ..glass was dirty on shelf , store manager was sitting in back of store and on computer and totally ignoring our request to explain how is the color applied on glass and not able to show as any certificates. Glass is very overpriced and staff was not helpfull at all. If you want shop for real Czech design I recommend to avoid this store and visit Prague cabinet next door.

During my recent visit to Prague (February 2015) I went to one of the three Artel Glass stores in that city to receive an order that I had placed online (and paid) several months previously. Until then I had only seen the Artel Glass products on the Internet and this was, in addition to my own order, a chance to see some of them personally. First of all, my order was ready and waiting, packed very well for carrying as hand luggage on my return flight home. But this was also a chance to see Artel's other products, including glass, jewelry, and antique items. At least one of the Artel stores (this one on Platnerska Street near Charles Bridge) should be a required stop for any visitor to Prague. The products (especially the glass!) are sophisticated, beautifully crafted and a sight to behold. Please be sure to visit!

“ARTEL should be a required stop for any visitor to Prague”. Wow! I do not think compliments get much better than that. Thank you for sharing this very generous compliment. You had a very unique experience as most of our customers to date, see the product first and then receive their goods. But I am so pleased to hear that you purchased from our new online store, and that you were satisfied upon receipt in our stores. I do hope the glass made it home safely. The stores are indeed an eclectic mix of jewelry, novelties and curiosities - I am pleased you appreciated the mix – especially the glass. Should you make it back to Prague, do let me know – it would be lovely to invite you for a coffee as it would be a true pleasure for me to have an opportunity to meet such a fan in person. I stayed 5 days in Prague. One day, I programmed a "art and design" shopping.
I have to say that Artel was the most exciting shop I saw. All the objects are created by designers, this is ART and this is beautiful. I wish I could include their products in my new house project.

"oh to be rich" - are indeed thoughts I have everyday too! Thank you Thank you for your wonderful review of ARTEL. I am so pleased you enjoyed shopping at our stores and not only appreciated our beautiful glass but it seems just about everything else in our very eclactic and fun mix. I hope you will enjoy your purchases for years to come and if you do make it back to Prague come visit us again, as we would love to welcome you back to our stores. After scouring Prague for contemporary jewelry and other fun knick-knacks, I have determined hands down, that Artel wins! I bought so many fun costume and czech-designed jewelry, all at affordable prices...visit both the shop in the main district near Old Town Square, and also the one on the other side of the river, to the right over the Charles Bridge. It's worth going out of your way for...and they have beautiful contemporary glasses....
