Great place for hiking
Sep 2021
One of my favorite places for hiking. Easy to get to, on the way to the International Airport. Wear comfortable shoes and pack some snacks!

Escape to the nature
Jul 2021 • Couples
This was a beautiful place to see some natural parts of Bohemia outside Prague. It was easy to get to - take bus 119 to the Divoka Sarka stop and you can enter the park behind McDonald’s. There are a few different trails you can walk on, and a few pubs too! We went to the top of the mountain and the views were absolutely beautiful. We did some yoga up there too 🥰 If you have a while to spend in Prague and love the outdoors, I recommend checking this place out.

A large park with high crags and a reservoir
Apr 2021
This is a large and pleasant park with two high crags rising from the riverbed. The river is dammed and has a reservoir behind it. Along the reservoir are areas for water-skiing and other activities. Like all the parks of Prague, this is a nice place for those wishing to walk dogs or to exercise.

Makes a great change from the city.

The ancient funicular tram is a great way to get to the top. The park is a great break from the city. The adjacent monastery library is well worth the entrance fee. Choose a quiet time in order to peer in and see the ornate ceilings.

Fresh Air

Beautiful park. Prague has many parks big and small, very close to the center. That is why most people who are visiting Prague , won't venture this far.
It is a good thing. You may not see a tourist for miles. And for that reason, it is obviously great for locals.

But if you have a lot of time while visiting Prague, you are a nature lover, and you have seen all the bridges, the churches, climbed all the towers, take the tram and check it out here.
Divoka Sarka is beautiful in every season and it is free ....

Wildlife in prague

Get there and you will see incredible things. Like free wild goats eating grass on the small "mountain" or birds, owls, ... Great place. But stay safe if you go at night.

Wild nature inside the city
Oct 2019
It’s amazing to come in into this park: in few seconds you forget you are in a big capital city. Just wild nature. Recommend to enjoy it!

Far from the Madding Crowd
Oct 2019
The tram will take you away from the crowds in central Prague to this wonderful area of countryside with rocky outcrops and lovely woods. Very peaceful on a week day morning. Try to find a map before you set off. We could have got hopelessly lost if we hadn't decided to just retrace our steps after a couple of hours. Never has a MacDonalds coffee been so welcome - there is a branch of Maccy D's at the tram terminus
