Our experience was very good, our guide was very knowledgeable and even sang to us! He took us to some nice sites, and made some good recommendations! He even gave us a handy 'local' map which had many good tips. We used this the whole time in Prague and had a great experience checking out some local places! Thanks :)

Dear Hannah, I am happy that your experience with our guide was very good! And you were very lucky that you had guide who can sing, not all the guides can sing and if they did, their guests would just run away :) But yes, in general we try to present history humorous and interactive way, rather then presenting only... We joined Zed's four hour tour (broken into two 2 hour segments) and loved every minute of it. He was extremely informative, funny, and honest. He showed us many unusual places, pointed out some interesting details, and kept us all enthralled with his stories and comments. We take many tours in many places, but I can say this was the... My two friends and I did back-to-back walking tours with the same tour guide today (the amazing Tereza). Each tour lasted 2 hours, and took us to every major attraction/historical site that we'd want to see. Tereza was incredibly knowledgeable in the history of it all, and she was so warm, inviting and open to all of our questions.

My two friends and I took a free walking tour of Prague this past week. Our tour guide was David and he was so friendly and funny and gave a very good overview of the history of Prague. We took the two hour tour of the old city and the Jewish quarter with Teresa as our guide. She took us on an interesting trip through Pragues history, and used her own family's story to illuminate parts of her lecture. With lots of knowledge and humor, she is the perfect guide. Highly recommend!

A huge thanks to our guide Zed for the really, really interesting tour of Prague! The weather wasn't the greatest but that didn't put the dampener of the high spirited tour. I especially loved learning about the history of the castle and the background to the November 17th demonstrations (which we walked through) straight from a Czech perspective. I'll definitely... Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
