I met at 11am at the Powder Tower, they have a blue umbrella with clouds on. We went walking around the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter. It was a two hour walking tour; so wrap up warm and bring an umbrella. The tour was great, our guide David was really friendly and knew all about Prague. The tours are... More

Our tour guides Dominik (Old Town and Jewish Quarter tour) and Tereza (Charles Bridge and Castle tour) made sure that the 2-hour tour was fun and entertaining for everyone. It combines the history of the city with some true fun facts and stories. I'd definitely do it again and probably will!

The extravaganza tour was with Dominik. He was nice, interesting , not boring , very focused on the specific information and all of it was with a bit sense of hummer. Great expirience.

I first heard of Prague Extravanganza after it was recommended in my book about '10 things to do in Prague'. The tour begins at Powder Gate and the guides are easy to find. You can do a tour of just the old town/Jewish Quarter or you can carry on and have a tour of Prague castle too. We only did... More

Zed's love of history match his love of Prague. He took us on a double tour that helped us get a glimpse of over 10 centuries of life in this corner of the world. Lots of walking at a reasonable pace.

As students we were very interested in a free tour and although it was cold and we were only two visitors, our guide (Zed) maked us discover Prague in a very nice way. Hi Marion You were very lucky to have Zdenek only for yourself, this is a benefit of low winter season. Therefore I am double happy to read your positive feedback and I am hoping that some future visitors of Prague will read it and decide to join us :) Thank you. Klara founder & guide More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
