Neighborhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

This was one of the coolest things I’ve done! Super nice guy and just an easy time. We made two beer mugs in about 35-40 mins (pretty cheap for that experience too around £50), right balance between Dave showing us his handiwork and us having a go. Honestly one of the greatest parts of this trip and I highly recommend - think there are slightly cheaper options too (like making a paperweight) if you’re on a low budget. Really recommend it!

Great way to spend an hour learning about glass making and participating in the process of creating something to take home with you. We recommend choosing the custom design class so that you can participate in the design process and make something unique that you can display in your home. The folks at pragl are great and made this hour a lot of fun, the included beer was great too!

Make a reservation online ahead of time and keep in mind that the glass must cool in ovens over time, so you'll need to leave time to pick the glass up the next afternoon. We cut it close with our flight the next day, but the friendly folks at pragl helped to make sure we got our glass in time.

We had a fantastic experience at Pragl making glass creations with David! I highly recommend it. It was very affordable and you get to make a one of a kind souvenir to take home. We all had so much fun! You get to help shape and blow your own glass object of your choosing. Don't miss out on this one. We'll be back again soon. If you are trying to book for multiple people, just email them so you get the right amount of time booked for your group.

The whole experience was relaxed and fun.
David made me feel welcome and we got down to discuss world views, creative mysteries and glass (of course) straight away.

I was worried I wouldn’t actually get to set lips to a rod!
But I got to put my own breath into my own piece, and help smooth, carry and fire the glass! So I was really chuffed.

David delivers a lot of information fast, but in a way that you can grasp it and remember it.

I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone that wants a unique memento of Prague and not you run of the mill tacky souvenir shop items!!

An experience and a souvenir in one!
And a glass blower’s beer in a hand made glass too!

The team are so professional especially David the glass blower who is the genuine article! He exudes passion for having fun and making beautiful pieces of glass. I chose the beer mug, and my daughters chose to make flowers and one Christmas tree bauble. All gorgeous colors and styles to choose from. We had a beer, and a hands on experience where you assist David in making your glass piece. It was a wonderful experience and was nice to get out of the cold for some lovely heat from the furnace!! I would highly HIGHLY recommend it for a great 40 minute experience of a Czech glass blowing tradition.

David was absolutely wonderful with our group, especially with the kids. He allowed them to help and was so positive and encouraging. The glass blowing class was the highlight of our trip for our 8 year old both times we have visited Prague. Our boys use the items they made and they are a wonderful souvenir! Highly recommend visiting and either purchasing a beautiful piece, or better yet, taking a class to make your own.

So glad to have stumbled across this experience. Dave was awesome! Not only very talented, but he also made us feel like old friends. We chose to make a mug/cup, and it was the perfect amount of involvement and interaction for a personalised but usable vessel at the end.

Would recommend at least stopping in to watch the glass blowing take shape and to enjoy a free beer with Dave! A memorable experience for sure.

Wonderful experience making a beer mug while in Prague! We found this gem by chance and we thought it a great way to make a souvenir. All of the studio times were filled but we stopped in the next day and the artist agreed to stay late so we could make our project! What fun! My friend and I made a glass beer mug while our husbands enjoyed some Czech beer and took pictures. This is a must visit experience in Prague!!

Great experience! I was able to actually assist in blowing glass and created two wonderful pieces of art that I will have in my life for a very long time. The Australian glass blower was fun and very good at what he does. We made a mug and a Christmas Ornament. I bought a few other pieces, which you can do if you don't have time to do the glass blowing. I do want to say it is important to wrap them in bubble wrap and bring them home in the middle of your suit case. We had a few baggage handlers get a little ruff and two of the items we bought broke, but the main two items are fine as well as one of the others we bought.

A fantastic experience of both lamp working and glass blowing at this glass shop in the Old Town. Great teachers and excellent facilities. We made beads and a selection of blown and solid glass pieces during our 4 hour experience. Great fun and some unique items made to take home and treasure as a memory of our visit to Prague. Highly recommended for complete beginners or those with some experience of working with glass. The booking process was super easy and communication was excellent throughout.
