We ( 7 of us ) spent Christmas in Prague. We had our Christmas dinner on the Jazz Boat it was excellent. For approx £39 a head we had the best table on the boat, excellent food and exceptional service, not to mention the Jazz music. Great views along the river and lovely atmosphere.

The live Jazz music was very good, albeit a little on the loud side for my liking. Food was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Seating a little cramped.

It seems that the day time mini cruise without the food or Jazz is the same as all the other cruise experiences and really an hour wasted. A trip between the banks of the river didn't really show any better views of Prague than our walks along those banks. I guess we were closer to the swans, but if we... More

A really great recommendation, even for a solo traveller. My hotel concierge recommended this and she first said this is her personal favourite of all activities and indeed it was mine. Mixing my love for jazz music and tasty food. Lovely hospitality, lovely band and gorgeous views of Prague city at night. A total hit for such a decent/dare I... More

I am not normally a jazz fan however I thought this would be a great way of seeing Prague at night and it was absolutely perfect. The nachos weren't the best but the hot wine on entry was a great treat for the cold weather. I recommend booking way in advance and getting a window seat near the radiator if... More

The Jazzboat experience was absolutely lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Despite a misty and cold Prague Winter night, we had a great evening. The food was good, the music not too loud and with sufficient breaks, and watching Prague’s sites pass by from the boat with the swans next to us made for a perfect night. We can highly... More

If you have two hours to spare then I highly HIGHLY recommend this cruise! It's romantic, warm, amazing views just perfect! The food is good, expected of a package cruise but tasty and satisfying nonetheless! The staff were also fantastic! Just the novelty of being on a boat being serenaded by (an exceptionally good) jazz band is something special! The... More

Been to the Jazz boat twice, and would certainly go back. They have different local artists playing pretty much every night. If you're into Jazz, you'll love the music; I did for sure. The tour lasts about 2:30 hours through the river, and the view alone is amazing. You get served soon after the boat moves off, with pretty good... More

The boat was smarter than I expected and the food better quality than I expected. Bar expensive. Band were great, really engaging.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
