My wife, 30 year old daughter and I were in Prague at the end of August 2019 to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We had the excellent fortune of hiring Alena Dušková for a day to guide us around Prague. I very highly recommend Alena to guide you around Prague. She is very bright, very professional and very knowledgeable. She speaks English very well. On top of all this she is lots of fun. She took us to some out of the way Czech places that we we would never have thought of going to and never would have found. She is a 5 star tour guide. Her email is alena1803@gmail.com. Enjoy Prague!

We had a great day trip to 3 fantastic stops! It was a long day as the warned us when we booked the tour, but we are so glad we did it! First stop was in Kunta Horna where we toured the Cathedral of St. Barbara, The Bone Church (incredible, words can't describe). 2nd top was in Ceske Budejovice-stopped for lunch in a local restaurant and a few original budweiser beers, delicious! 3rd stop Cesky Krumlov-It was the beginning of december and late in the afternoon so the castle was closed but we walked through the grounds and then to the old town where a lovely christmas market was open. The view from the castle grounds to the old town are breathtaking! The drive back to Prague was about 2 hours. Our driver was very friendly and informative throughout the trip! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel.

We booked a 4 hour walking tour for our first day in Prague. We mistakenly thought we wouldnt have jet lag and booked a tour starting at 0900. Eva arrived promptly for our tour at our Airbnb, only to find that (to our horror) we all overslept! Eva was so wonderful and understanding, she allowed us time to get ready and meet her almost an hour late. We told her that we did not expect to get the full 4 hour tour since it was our mistake but she changed her personal schedule and gave us the whole tour! Not expected at all, but so much appreciated. She gave us a fantastic walking tour with an overview of the city and the people. She answered all our questions and showed us even more than we thought we would see! A private tour is certainly the way to go and WELL worth the money. Don't hesitate at all to book with Eva. She is a gem!

If I could give this review below a 1 - I would. Be wary of using this group if you are traveling from Prague to catch a RIVER CRUISE in Nuremberg or PASSAU. We booked this group sight unseen through the internet- BIG MISTAKE. The plan was to take my wife and I from Prague to Nuremberg by private car with a site seeing stop in Carlsbad- sleepy Czech spa town. Most importantly , we had to be at our boat at FIVE pm. The tour company emailed us that the pick up would be at 8:30 am and we would have a driver and a tour guide in Carlsbad. The driver showed up at 9:10. No worries so far -. We drove to Carlsbad . Took a tour of a glass plant by a sales rep and then we were dropped off in Carlsbad with No promised Guide. He told us to call him after we walked around and had lunch.. Ok no guide but still no worries. We found him and he took us to some other little town near Carlsbad. It must be noted - we had no idea where we really were or the distance to Nuremberg. I/We thought we were very close to Nuremberg- I assumed - bad assumption that the tour company as promised did this type of tour on a regular basis - since it advertised this on their site and told us the pick up time. At about 4:00 pm , My wife mentioned to the driver - we should probably be headed to the ship in Nuremberg. He said it’s about 90 minutes away. We freaked out . Ran to the Van and sped away . It took TWO HOURS. I kept calling the ship begging them to wait -continually changing our arrival time. We arrived at the ship a little past 6:00 pm. The CAPTAIN WAS LITERALLY STANDING ON THE GANG PLANCK and yelled at or to us “GET ON THE SHIP NOW...” We made it fortunately. Within 5 minutes the anchor was pulled up and the ship left the dock with our bags and us standing in the ships lobby were all the guests were meeting the crew and drinking champagne. I / we usually don’t write bad reviews unless the experience was very bad / this one was very bad.

Hello, why do you make this stuff up? You DID get guide service in Karlsbad and you DIDNT tell us that the boat was leaving on the same day. You only told us that there is lifeboat drill at 5:00 pm, but not that the boat was leaving that day. That is a big difference. While you were having lunch, our driver-guide moved the van to a closer location at the hotel Pupp so you did not have to walk all the way back to the van. That is a positive thing, not negative. Our driver-guide wanted to give you a bonus and so he took you to another spa town nearby. Free bonus. You also forgot to mention that you visited WC three times and each time you took about 20 minutes, that is a lot of time. Maybe you were ill and got it all mixed up. I hope next time you will feel better and will experience our service in a different way. Best regards Jay Pesta, owner.

My wife and I visited Praha with her sister. I contacted Private Prague Guide Day Tours and they offered remarkable service and great flexibility. The guides they sent were first rate and very knowledgeable. In particular Premysl (Prem) Voska and Marek Lopko stood out for excellence. You wont regret contacting these people.
