Visited Krcma on the back of other TripAdvisor reviews and I have to say we were not disappointed! If you want a flavour of old Prague then definitely stop by for a drink at this cosy, chilled out little tavern. It's very quaint; tons of candles, old wooden tables and fur throws dotted around to snuggle into. The beer is... More

A great character place to eat, the dark beer was delicious, portion sizes were good. Eating by candlelight in the gloom was a real treat for my eleven year old. Highly recommended after walking round the castle district.

Dark and atmospheric. The hot mead is excellent and good prices. They sell food which smelt lovely but we only had a drink. A must see place when visiting the castle. If only walls could talk! Recommend a visit.

We popped in to this place by accident as we were looking for somewhere to warm up after visiting the castle. It's was cosy and warm, candlelit and medieval in decoration. We only had a drink but the menu and food looked good. We were really glad we stopped in. Such a pleasant place for a pint.

Visited this restaurant with a group of 20 last Jan. We went for all inclusive package which was recommended when booking. All drink, food and show included. Food was of reasonable quality, a little sparse, may be an extra platter of mains was needed for our size group. No problems with the drink as much as you wanted. The show was... More

The restaurant has an upper area and a downstairs section. The latter is best as it looks like a cave type environment. Upstairs does not have that medieval look. Food is good. The issue for me was that they received my money up front now they want to deliver the goods and get us to leave. Felt very rushed. Entertainment... More

Visited on a cold January lunchtime and had the Beef Goulash which was amazing. Really liked the food, the beer and the overall atmosphere so we decide to book the evening medieval show for the next night. The show was really entertaining although there were quite long gaps between the performances as each one had to be repeated in different... More

We've been here with friends, to try the medieval experience. Everything is nice: the environment, the staff and the food. Good goulash with dumplings, pork ribs and vegetarian dish. For a different night out!

Absolutely nothing special. Totally tourists place with moderate food, that is rather expensive. Can not recommend to visit.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
