I didn’t expect this at all. I remember DBK being a second rate mall with kind of obscure little shops but in last couple years it got developed very well and now has a lot of the namebrands, electronics shop, food court and a gym well fitted into the 80’s architecture

This shopping centre is situated in the Budějovická area, about seven to nine tube stations from central Prague. You'll see the patrons are all Czech, so there's seldom tourist trap. We happened to hire an accommodation in this area, so we had our shopping in their basement supermarket called Billa. There's also a Mark and Spencer and the first floor found a little department store. We changed our Euros there and the exchange bureau's staff was an elderly lady, who was serious and honest, we had peace of mind doing business with her rather the one in the Prague city centre, and she offered a very fair rate as well. There were shops more Czech and more local. The shopping centre was small but sufficed to provide the local what they need and there were coffee shops and restaurant as usual. It's quite convenient, just get up one floor after leaving the tube station, there it is. I preferred this one than any other malls in the city centre.
