Church of Saint Cyril and Methodius Prague

If you ever watch the movie Anthropoid which showed the Bravery of Jan Kubic, Josef Gabcik and their teams bravery during the assassination on the Nazi Reinhard Heydrich then this is worth a visit.
Not a long walk from the centre of Prague. This is where the team hid in the basement of the church but were flooded out by the Nazis after being betrayed. The bullet holes seem to bring across the the sense of reality these guys suffered.
Well worth a visit to pause and remember.

Very dark looking but imposing church. Near airport, went past when going out for dinner when staying near the airport.

Evocative looking church.

The Church Of St Cyril is a beautiful church we found as we were heading to the wonderful craft beer bar Dva Kohouti and what a wonderful evocative looking church this is.
The church has a Gothic architectural style to it,it's beautiful spires are very photogenic, we never ventured into the church that dominates Karlinske Square but I was suitably impressed with the church to stop and admire and take some nice photographs.
Easy to locate on Karlinske Námestie and most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area of Karlin.

Experience Prague Residential

OVERALL: A 30min walk from Old Town to the corporate center of Prague is this beautiful neighborhood church. It’s situated in a peaceful residential setting.

ADMITTEDLY we mistaken this church for the Cathedral of St. Cyril of Operation Anthropoid fame.

A REFRESHER: This was a refresher as Saturday is a local Farmers Market and we experienced how local professionals live outside the tourist center.
