Personable and warm experience!!!

We have travelled to Prague a number of times and Katerina is hands down one of the best guides in Prague! She is so knowledgeable about her homeland and is so happy to share her personal experiences in the context of locations of interest all while being interesting. I have been with many guides who, while extremely passionate and knowledgeable, can go on a little. Katerina has mastered the balance of keeping her party interested all with good humour and personal anecdotes.

She will also go out of her way to personalise an experience and definitely knows how to cater to an audience.

Would highly recommend for all types of people, from couples to families with children and groups!!

Very interesting and informative

Katerina is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all things in Prague and Czechia. She is an historian and anthropologist and, adding her personal experiences, really brings it all to life. We did two half day tours, one day focused on the Castle complex and Lesser Town and the second day on the Jewish Quarter, Old Town and New Town. It was very informative and we learned so much about the history of this beautiful city. We were glad to have a private tour guide instead being part of the large groups that we saw as we walked. We highly recommend Katerina and Prague Walker.

Memorable Visit to Prague Using a Highly Experienced Tour Company

We enjoyed wonderful touring with Prague Walker during our 5 day visit to Prague in July. We had previously scheduled this tour for 2020 but ..... :) Planning our tours with Katerina (the owner) was very easy and she was very helpful and accommodating to our requests. Tereza was our tour guide during our two 1/2 day city tours as well as our fascinating "road trip" to the charming city of Cesky Krumov which we highly recommend. Tereza was a fantastic guide providing detailed descriptions of the city and its deep-rooted history. Coming from AZ and its associated "hellish" weather in the summer, we had fantastic weather during our visit which added to the overall experience visiting Prague. If you are visiting Prague, you cannot go wrong using Prague Walker.

A riveting introduction to a great city that has made us want more!

When something travel-related is recommended by Rick Steves, one expects it to be good. Katerina Svobodova was nothing short of excellent: she oriented us to Praha, and, learning of our interests, made this great city's history relevant and interesting to us; she also gave us fantastic suggestions about where to go and what to do for the rest of our time there. Her passion and knowledge are obvious, but what makes her one of the best in her field is her ability to read her guests well and adapt content and delivery accordingly: we had her for eight hours and there was not a moment when we felt bored or that it was getting monotonous or pointless. Hiring a guide can often be an expensive mistake, but if you can find someone like Katerina Svobodova, it will be the best travel investment you make!

Jewish Quarter with PragueWalker

We took a private walking tour of the Jewish Quarter with Tereza in May, 2022. Tereza was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. She took us throughout the Jewish Quarter and we visited all of the museums. In addition to teaching us all of the history she shared how the history affected her family. She helped us understand what happened to the Jewish community after WWII and how young, modern Jews in Prague are rediscovering their religion. She warned us about the resident black cat at the Jewish cemetery and when we actually tried to find the cat she escorted us to her favorite local cat cafe at the end of the tour. Prrrrr.

Katerina was very easy to contact and to communicate with.
Very high value tour.

We had a group of 6 for a 4 hour tour of Prague with Katerina. Her knowledge of the city history and experience from living in Prague and her willingness to share personal stories and insights made this tour incredible. I highly recommend Katerina and the Prague walker group

Wonderful "Taste of Prague"

We spent a wonderful day touring Prague with Katerina. Our 4 hour "Taste of Prague" walking tour took us throughout the city. Katerina gave us the history of the city, described everything we were seeing and what more there was if we chose to return to the museums and castles to go inside and see more. She also illuminated all of it with stories of modern day experiences during and after the Velvet Revolution.The tour was a wonderful overview of Prague. I highly recommend PragueWalker.

Amazing Prague Tour - Highly Recommend

Katka met us at our hotel. She was on time, warm and engaging. She began by telling us some great historical facts about Prague and the Czech Republic in general. Then we set out walking (some of the time we took the trams) and we saw Prague Castle, Old Town Square, the Charles Bridge, and St. Vitus Cathedral. The highlight was the Astronomical Clock, which we were able to watch the figures dance as the clock struck on the hour. Katka is a true professional who knows her city and enjoys what she does. we can't thank her enough or recommend her more highly.

Katka was fabulous. So well educated and informed.
We were 5 couples travelling from the US and stayed in Prague for 5 nights. We hired Katka for four 1/2 and/or full day tours in and around Prague...... tours included Old Prague, New Prague, Velvet Revolution and Terezin/Lidice. Thank you so much Katka!!

A Perfect Way to Get to Know Prague

We've done personalized walking tours in eight countries, and Katerina rates at the very top of the list. She tailors her tours to your individual interests, and walking with her was like seeing an amazing new city with a lovely old friend. The time flew by and helped to set us up with the historical background and context to make the most of the rest of our visit in Prague. Dekuju!
