Just returned from a 23 day European vacation and by far one if not the highlight was the three+ days we spent touring Prague and Pilsen with a very talented Katerina Svobodova. We arranged the details, for the most part, with Katka prior to arriving as to what we were interested in seeing and doing and she adapted our tours exactly to our liking. Well spoken and easy to understand she made the tours seamless. We stopped for rest or food when we needed, she taught us the public transportation system so we could easily traverse the city on our own if we chose and her knowledge of the history of Prague and the Chech Republic was astounding. She speaks many languages and is just such a pleasant person to be around making us feel so comfortable in our new surroundings. We would highly recommend PragueWalker and Katerina if you are lucky enough to visit the charming city of Prague.

Fantastic tour! We found PragueWalker in the Rick Steve's travel guide and had Katerina as our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Prague, but was also able to provide first hand experiences of the changes the country has been through in her lifetime- living under communist rule as a child, the Velvet Revolution, joining the EU, all the way through how the city is recovering once EU borders reopened. The tour was personalized both in what we asked to include in the tour (an overview of the city with some additional details), as well as spoken by a person who loves their city. She was even great at answering any questions my son asked, and when we were done, she gave recommendations for follow up activities based on our interests and places to eat. We usually do an overview tour when we travel to a new city, but the personalization PragueWalker can do as a private tour was so much better than any of the group tours we have done!

We reached out to various outfits based on Rick Steves' recommendation and Prague Walker is the only one responded. We book a 4-hour walking intro tour and our guide, Vojtaj, met us at our hotel. We decided to spend time at the Castle, and walked our way back to Jewish Quarter which is where we said goodbye. Vojtaj was knowledgeable, able to answer questions we posed, and overall a friendly young man. We wanted to know more of what life was during the communist time and Vojtaj could not talk much (since he was born after 1989). We recommend PW if anyone is interested learning more about Prague.
