About
Gallery of Steel Figures is an interactive and original exhibition in the centre of Prague. Our steel figures are inspired by characters from cartoons, sci-fi, fantasy, fairytales, pop culture as well as animals and hits from the automotive world. You can touch, climb in and sit on all the figurines and of course, take pictures with your favourite superheroes or childhood friends. And the good part is, all exhibits are made from recycled steel parts! Which means, we managed to make scrap and metal waste into art! We exhibit over 100 figures on 1200 m² and two floors in a beautiful art noveau building in the historical centre of Prague. If you get tired, you can rest at our café on the 1st floor and have a cup of coffee, homemade lemonade or a delicious fresh pizza. We also offer a large selection of original souvenirs for you to bring back home. We hope to welcome you soon!

Address
Neighborhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

Good rainy day/cold weather activity
Feb 2020
The gallery itself is two floors and can be experienced fairly quickly if you're not taking many photos. We stopped in on a cold, rainy morning to wait out the weather and had fun looking at the different figures. There is a cafe upstairs on the second floor as well.

I was passing this place late in the evening and it was the motorbike outside that caught my eye. It was fabulous and looking inside I wanted to go in but time was short but would love to go back and see everything next visit.

Accidentally stumbled upon this place, and so glad we decided to go in, tickets were reasonable and all the figures were amazing, even better that you could sit in all the different cars downstairs. Cute little cafe upstairs, to have a coffee whilst going around more steel figures, definitely a must to see!

Gem of a place

Stumbled on this by accident and so glad I went in. Admission was cheap enough and what a marvellous exhibition. I was really impressed by what this artist could do with scrap metal. I had to have a sit down on the iron throne saying as Daenerys never did. Would recommend. Also has an upstairs cafe for a hot drink and snack

So impressive so amazing and so original! Staff was amazing, kind and helpful, u also get a coupon for free coffee on the first floor where the caffee is, and the coffee and cakes are amazing! The facts about the place and how the figures are made is just mind blowing! The time it took to do so as well! Also 30e family card is a good price for what you will get and experience. Also its in the center, easy to find, close to Mustek metro A, just across from it. Must see in Prague!

Creative use of Steel
Jan 2020 • Couples
Really good exhibition, great to see what creative things can be done with steel. The lower tier of the museum is very interactive with life size vehicles you can get in and out of, the upper tier is full of steel figures from some great cartoons/animations and films.

Absolutely brilliant. The best attraction in Prague. The man on the payment desk was really kind, helpful and polite. The metal art was phenomenal. I would recommend this to anyone.
