About
Gallery of Steel Figures is an interactive and original exhibition in the centre of Prague. Our steel figures are inspired by characters from cartoons, sci-fi, fantasy, fairytales, pop culture as well as animals and hits from the automotive world. You can touch, climb in and sit on all the figurines and of course, take pictures with your favourite superheroes or childhood friends. And the good part is, all exhibits are made from recycled steel parts! Which means, we managed to make scrap and metal waste into art! We exhibit over 100 figures on 1200 m² and two floors in a beautiful art noveau building in the historical centre of Prague. If you get tired, you can rest at our café on the 1st floor and have a cup of coffee, homemade lemonade or a delicious fresh pizza. We also offer a large selection of original souvenirs for you to bring back home. We hope to welcome you soon!

Neighborhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

Very unique museum and special experience. You can take photos with your super heros, sit on huge motorbikes and on my favourite - throne. Interesting for children above 5 (might be dangerous for younger children as they might cut themselves or be hit by car doors) and parents. The tickets (30 € for family) are almost of the same price as for the Prague ZOO (32 € for family) thus quite expensive for pretty small museum. You can hardly spend more than 1 or 2 hours in it. We longed for some titles, explanations next to the figures: who is who, how it was made, how long it lasted to make it, who did it and when. There is nothing next to the figures.

We are so glad that we stopped into this amazing and unique gallery on our last day wandering aimlessly around Prague! It was not even on our list but ended up being one of the most memorable highlights. These figures are made from recycled steel parts and the craftsmanship is just out of this world. The figures can be climbed in and on, kids (and adults) can play with separable parts (hint: light sabre), and there is a construction station upstairs where you can try your own hand at building a model or two. Highly recommended!

I loved this place. It was a good way to spend an hour and there were great photo opportunities. The figures are really excellent. We were two adults however this would be a great place for kids as it is quite interactive. Give it a go, it's worth it!

The opportunity for a selfie with a personality from showbusiness or a cartoon character or sitting in an expensive car is the major draw and popularity for this attraction. Getting up close and personal, even to touch the exhibits is permitted – there is even a sign telling encouraging you to do it. However, despite this welcomed freedom to snuggle up and take a selfie with Arnold Schwarzenegger (as the Terminator), Johnny Depp (as Captain Jack Sparrow), Michael Jackson, Darth Vader, the Hulk, the Simpson family, Wall-e, Iron Man and many, many more, you are strongly advised NOT to climb on them. That didn’t seem to deter parents (like me) from placing their kids on the back of a dinosaur to pretend going for a ride for an amusing photograph for the family album.
In many ways this is like a waxworks, except the exhibits are made from recycled steel components. Like gear wheels, spark plugs, screws, wire netting and sheet steel. The similarity with waxworks continues as you begin to realise that a good number of the figures have no likeness to the people that they are meant to portray – LoL.
The exhibit is housed on 2 floors of what used to look like an old department store. There is still a counter and display cabinets on the first floor which has been left in situ. The ground floor holds mainly cars, some of which you can sit in the driving and passenger seats. Admittedly, they are not exactly comfortable. Although the Game of Thrones seat is slightly more bearable. The remainder of the ground floor and all of the first floor are figurines generally from film and TV franchise. These include the Minions, Star Wars, the Simpsons, Shrek, Princess Fiona and family and a host of characters from Marvel comics.
My favourite model was that of the Hulk. It was particularly well made and looked like the character. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Thor, Captain Jack Sparrow, the Shrek family, Chewbacca and Snow White which are laughably kitsch ‘rubbish’.
The exhibit has a wide appeal. It is perfect fodder for social media.

We decided to visit ahead of our trip to Prague - and so glad we did. Exhibits are amazing and very well built, visitors can sit inside cars and actually touch the majority of the displays, which often is forbidden in other museums. Definitely worth a visit when in Prague

If you are in Prague try to visit this exhibition.
We where passing and taking photographs of the few exhibits outside the building when a couple on their way out recommended we should go in and see. On this recommendation we decided to give it a try and where so pleased we did.
It’s full of pieces reconstructed from all recycled metal. All your favourites film characters are there from Disney, Marvel and Minions through to a spectacular Game of Throne chair and fabulous cars and motor bikes.
You can leave all bags and coats if required at a free bag drop and they encourage you to climb on or in any of the pieces which is truly good fun.
Over two floors there is a lot to see
We spent a very happy couple of hours here and took a ton of photos and of course on the way out we found ourselves recommending it to people outside looking in.
A must do in Prague and some very very clever recycling

Great fun!!
The figures are so brilliantly done, but it's the fact you can touch, climb and board that makes this place fantastic fun.
It's 2 floors of life size figures - persons (real & fictional), motorbikes and cars. Fortunately there weren't too many people there when we went and we were able to fully interact and take photos. We were like two big kids, great for all age groups.

So impressive so amazing and so original! Staff was amazing, kind and helpful, u also get a coupon for free coffee on the first floor where the caffee is, and the coffee and cakes are amazing! The facts about the place and how the figures are made is just mind blowing! The time it took to do so as well! Also 30e family card is a good price for what you will get and experience. Also its in the center, easy to find, close to Mustek metro A, just across from it. Must see in Prague!
