For our first full day in Prague we definitely wanted to arrange a guided tour to cover the main sights around the capital city. After much research I selected the All Inclusive Prague Tour offered by Legendary Tours. One of the main reasons I opted for this particular company is that they use a vox system (headphones) so you can hear the guide even if you get separated or wander away for photos (hello, that's totally me!). They also include a 20-minute tram ride, 50-minute river cruise, bottled water, and lunch with a beer. The one thing that was advertised on their site as an inclusion that wasn't really offered (at least to us) was the welcome tea or coffee. I'm sure if we had asked they may have offered us a drink but we had just eaten breakfast and drank coffee before arriving so it wasn't a big deal. The meeting point was at the Tourist Information office adjacent to Coffee Factory (hence the offer for a free morning beverage).
Our guide Irina was fabulous! She was super friendly and knowledgeable, and began the tour with a stop at the Church of St. Ludmila in the Vinohrady district. Then we boarded tram number 22 headed to Prague Castle. The tour was supposed to include a visit inside St. Vitus Cathedral (I confirmed this via email in advance) but unfortunately our tour was on a Sunday so there was mass in the church while we were at the complex, and it would have taken way too long for our group to wait in line to enter once mass was over.
After checking out the panoramic views from the hilltop, we headed to lunch at Tavern by Seven Swabians (U Sedmi Švábů). The super dark interior made photography a challenge, but we enjoyed the medieval décor and the food! We had pre-ordered lunch with Irina before leaving the tourism office. Our options were chicken with potatoes, beef goulash, omelet or salad. Most of us ordered the beef goulash, and it is important to note that Czech goulash is vastly different from Hungarian goulash, which is more of a thin soup with meat. Czech goulash is more hearty, a thick stew served with boiled bread dumplings. It was delicious! The gravy was perfectly seasoned, and the fluffy bread dumplings were perfect for soaking up the sauce. The meat was quite tender as well. We really enjoyed it!
We headed across the Charles Bridge, and then to the dock for our river cruise. As it was only a 50-minute cruise it did not sail all the way down the river, but rather turned around shortly after the Charles Bridge. This was fine as it was still a great experience with wonderful views, and a much-needed break for our feet! We continued onward through the Jewish Quarter, where we spent a short time learning about its history, viewing a couple of synagogues, and the 12-layers-deep Jewish cemetery.
We spent final few minutes in Old Town Square just in time to see the show at the Astronomical Clock, "The Walk of the Apostles," which lasts less than 40 seconds and is SUPER anti-climactic, and yet people crowd around well in advance each hour to watch.
Everything in the tour was perfectly planned although I feel like some highlights advertised on their website were skipped (like the John Lennon Wall and the Estates Theatre to name a couple) likely because we ran out of time and she made adjustments as we went along. I obviously can't share all the bits of trivia and history we learned along the way, but suffice it to say it was WELL WORTH spending our day with Irina. Having the vox system made such a huge difference to hear everything Irina was sharing even when walking through crowds. This tour was an amazing deal considering its quality and inclusions. Breaks were timed well, lunch at 12:30 pm and the river cruise at 2:30 pm. I would highly recommend it!

We did the all inclusive legendary Tour and our guide Irena was brilliant and her knowledge of Prague was outstanding she has a brilliant personality and by the end of the 6 hours we felt we had made a friend I would absolutely recommend this tour

What a fantastic way to see the best parts of a beautiful city. Our tour guide Irina was so knowledgeable and told us so much of the city’s history. She was very friendly and took time to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this tour!!

Our Tour guide spoke very good english and was very knowledgable on the History of Czec Republic as well as Prague. Our guide managed the trip very well and had the patience of a saint. The audio system was great, very clear and our guide used it very well. The tour was a good mix of tram, walking and a boat trip and the lunch was very good with a beer.

I was collected from near my hotel by mini van and brought to the start of the tour. We started the tour just above the Castle. Our guide was excellent with great english. She gave us the history of Prague without overloading us with too much information and had little quizzes to keep people interested and entertained. It was a great way to see Prague and get all the major sights in. The meal was lovely and gave us a chance to talk to other people in the group. The boat trip was a wonderful way to see Prague from another angle. I would highly recommend this tour as a way of getting to know Prague.

My 6 friends and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour on our first full day in Prague. Irena was a wonderful, knowledgeable and kind host who was just so good at her job. Highly recommend.

The tour is a great way to understand how to get around, how far you are from other places and a great way to plan how to see everything in your own time. It would have been better to explore some of the places inside (prague castle) etc. However, the beautiful sites make up for that. LENA was amazing and very attentive to the individuals in the group. Very clear and well spoken. I would recommend this and Lena specifically to all tourists who visit Prague. Personal tip! Go out exploring yourself first, you will be surprised just how easy/close everything is.

We found our Ambassador Irina as our tour guide to be well prepared, experienced, and knowledgeable tour leader, which cover many interesting historic places. Irina was very strategic, efficient and helpful in getting everyone in advance water, electric sound enchanter, map and told us brief overview of what to expect in advance. We departed around 930 and before we knew it was 4 pm.
Lotsa of walking, positioned us at strategic photo positions, covered many areas and very enjoyable.
Irina is multilingual and her passion about Prague makes her
great patriot of Prague.
Only wish our group was smaller, but recommend this comprehensive overview of this great city.

Irenna - our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about her country. She spoke English very well and very informative. The tour was fun and was worth every money paid. Inclusive of a tram and boat ride plus lunch. We also explored the city by foot but had enough time to take photos and loads of selfies 😊

A follow up question: on the official website it lists the attractions the tour visits. This includes Old Town Bridge Tower. Does it include admission to climb the tower, time to climb it at your own expense, or just views from the outside? Thanks!

Could someone please share the name of the restaurant where this tour stops for lunch, and possibly what the lunch options are if they are restricted to a shorter menu than the regular menu? I'm a foodie and love to research where we're eating ahead of time :) Also, at Wallenstein Palace, do you get to explore the gardens at all or is it typically a short visit to just see the exterior? Just trying to decide if that's something we would revisit on our own if we wanted to visit the gardens. Thanks!

Hello, the restaurant for lunch is real historical medieval tavern with traditional czech food wich is located right under the Prague Castle. It is not big portions, but Castle area is most expensive in Prague. You can choice from 4 options - beef, chicken, omlette or vegan salad and ofcourse one drink.
We cover more then 55 attractions, tram ride, boat cruise, lunch - so it is walking tour around areas. After the tour you can visit all places you liked on your own.
