Would highly recommend a visit to see Zizkov. Having seen them play years before against my club it was great to see them play in their own stadium.Great little stadium and a real good atmosphere. Was brilliant sitting in the baking hot sun on a Sunday morning watching a game. Roughly only a few pound to get in. Me and my mate had a great time and would definitely go back if I were to visit Prague again.👍🏻 ziiiiizzzzzzzkkkkovv

Cool looking football ground.

Home to FK Viktoria Zizkov ,this great old fashioned football ground looks superb ,nothing fancy,a proper football stadium ,I never ventured into the stadium as we were in Zizkov in a Friday afternoon and I believe they play on a Sunday but I bet it's a great ground to enjoy taking in a football match ,see the locals cheering on their team ,reading the admittance fees it's very cheap to attend a game ,about £3 ,when my twin brother Stephen and I are back in Prague in 2020 we intend to take in a game.
Easy to locate, tram numbers to stop Husinecka drops you off practically by the football stadium.
Well worth checking out if you have an interest in football.

10.15 on a Sunday Morning
Apr 2018 • Solo
Located a short tram ride from the city centre in one of the “working class” districts of Prague, Viktoria Zizkov, traditionally play home matches at 10.15 on a Sunday morning, where the locals work off their Saturday night hangovers by drinking more beer, eating sausages and watching football !

For many years Viktoria were a solid top division team but at the moment they are currently mid-table in the Czech Second Division. The ground is very old fashioned and surrounded on two sides by housing and offices. There used to be dramatic floodlights at a 45 degree angle over the pitch but these have now been replaced by a more traditional upright variety.

Entrance was only 90 KCS and a programme was 10 KCS. However, the beer was surprisingly expensive at 35 KCS ( compared to 30 KCS at the more leafy Dukla two days earlier ) and a Klobasa sausage was 65 KCS. A Parek sausage was 50 KCS.

I sat in the main stand and around me I heard some Dutch, German and English voices. There were also 6 very loud Americans, so the tourists help swell the attendance numbers. The Dutch guys were also planning to go to the 3pm kick-off at Slavia !

The match was very entertaining and with a 2-1 win the locals went home happy.

For me, Viktoria is the most enjoyable of football grounds in Prague to visit ( along with Bohemians ) as I prefer the old fashioned, rickety grounds with a good atmosphere to the bland, soul less modern clean stadia.
