What a fantastic day with Lenka. Her English was perfect. Gave a great 8 hour tour giving us insight to the architectural design of the buildings, history on the churches, Jewish Ghetto, clock tower, monetary and much more. I highly recommend Lenka when you come to Prague. She also gave great recommendations on restaurants plus she took us to her favorite coffee house.

Our trip was fantastic. We spent the day driving around with Lenka and saw all the sites a Prague. She’s very customer service oriented. She wanted us to make sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend her. In eight hours we saw all of the highlights of frog and had a great lunch in the old town. Highly suggest link up for your tour needs

It was my desire to show my parents where I live in Prague and the city itself. I was worried about what I could offer them given that here I do not own a car in Prague nor am I too familiar with the city (having spent only a few months here). However, my major concern was not to tire my parents with walking and to still give them an overview of the main landmarks. Lenka did everything for me with professionalism (arriving on time), care (water and Czech goodies in the car for each passenger), comfort ( Volkswagen Sharan, air-conditioned), knowledge (history, churches, culture), opinions (her own experience of Czech people and culture; she would also not let you miss an imp place if she thinks it is really worth visiting etc), and going the extra mile (in a restaurant, my mum asked where the restroom was and was directed to a place downstairs and she immediately intervened and led her to another one which was ground level and easier to access; she took great photos of us; she checked the bills for us) and passion (she just enjoyed being with us and we enjoyed being with her!) I forgot to mention that we had my sixteen-year-old niece with us who was impressed by how kind and easy-to-be-with Lenka was. We were fortunate enough to have had Lenka for two days and I will definitely be contacting her the next time my parents visit - already agreed on that. I feel that having a personal guide is also much safer than joining other groups so that is definitely another asset of such tour settings. Last but not least, Lenka had been recommended to me by a very good friend of mine who works in the same field so I had no doubt that she would be great but she was beyond great! She really enriched our experience of Prague and to me as the organiser, she gave me peace of mind! Thank you, Lenka!

My review of Prague Tours by Lenka is specifically related to the genealogical tours her company provides. I reached out to Lenka based on the recommendation of a friend. What followed was a once in lifetime opportunity for my parents and I to discover our family's roots in the Czech Republic. I cannot express how blown away we were by the whole experience. Prior to our visit, and based on very limited information, Lenka's genealogist friend Stanislov was able to trace my mom's family history back three generations in southern Bohemia and Austria to as far back as the 1750s. Stan was able to identify the small villages they lived in as well as some of the color of there lives (occupations, marriages, children etc). All the information gathered by Stan was provided in clear summarized documents and provided as both paper and digital copies. From this information Lenka made arrangements for us to have a driving tour of the region with her and her husband Juan Carlos. We visited four small villages that have changed very little since our ancestors left in the late 19th century. As it happens we were touring on the feast day of the Czech peoples patron saint, St Wenceslas, and we had a chance to visit the church our ancestors were baptized, married and were laid to rest in all those years ago on a very special day. We continued our the tour by having lunch in quaint local restaurant followed by a tour of the beautiful, historical Orlik Castle, a boat ride on the Vltava River and finished our tour at the imposing Zvikov castle. As an added bonus Lenka provided tips and details about Prague and additional sites we were going to see on our travels. Lenka put an incredible amount of care and effort into making an amazing tour for us. She is well versed in the history, art and culture of the Czech Republic and has a passion to share her beautiful country with travelers from around the world. My mother, father and I want to thank Lenka, Juan Carlos and Stan for helping to make a truly memorable trip. We highly recommend her services to all traveling to Prague. For those travelers with Czech roots her genealogical tours can provide a once in a lifetime chance to uncover your family history. Highly, highly recommended.

We have visited Prague 3 times in the last few years and were lucky to hire Pavel for a local walking tour on our first trip. Since then, we have hired Pavel on each of our trips for a variety of tours in Prague and the Czech Republic. Growing up behind the Iron Curtain and coming of age during the Velvet Revolution, Pavel offers a version of history that goes beyond books and news clips. Not only is he knowledgeable, but he also loves his city/county and is passionate about sharing all he knows on his tours. Each time we visit, he takes us somewhere off the beaten path so we can try new things and experience the country like a local. When we return to Prague, we will definitely hire Pavel again. I recommend you do too.
