Lukas is an amazing tour guide - lots of interesting information but not too much. He was great at communicating with us amidst the COVID restrictions to ensure we were comfortable and able to do the trip. He picked us up at our home which made our lives much easier than having to meet at a different point. We visited a castle, village and then spent most of our time meandering in the park. He was patient with me stopping all the time to take photos and helped my husband pick mushrooms. Lunch was great at a table outside the restaurant. And unlike some tours we have been on, he was a good driver so we didn't get nauseated on the ride. Would definitely recommend him and his tours to anyone and look forward to going somewhere else with him in the future.

Hi Jeff, thank you a lot for the nice review. I hope you will enjoy your time in Prague. Let me know how was the Pecena Kachna (Roast Duck) :)

Excellent trip for nature lover, awesome place with good guide. No too difficult, our guide(Lukas) know every place about this park, and share lots of interesting information about Czech and this park.

We had wonderful day outdoors, out of the city in the spectacular countryside with Lukas. He is a very nice young man, polite, friendly, articulate and full of knowledge about the areas we visited, as well as ecology, and the history of Europe, specifically Eastern/Central Europe. The views were well worth the walk; absolutely breathtaking. I am 53, and my husband is 62, and we are in good health, but not in as good physical shape as we would like. This was the only Bohemian Switzerland NP tour that I found, that specifically stated that it was suitable for seniors and families with children. Lukas went at a pace we were comfortable with, and stopped whenever we wanted to take photos or rest.
If you are not used to using public transportation, don’t let using the metro to get to/from the meeting place discourage you. It is very easy, fast and convenient once you understand how it works. Tickets are sold by time, not location. We purchased a 72 hour ticket, but you can purchase less time. I would recommend purchasing your metro ticket prior to the morning of the excursion, at any newspaper/cigarette store. The first time you use it, be sure to validate it as you enter the metro area. There are no turnstiles, like in England, but there is a place to validate your ticket as you walk through. You can find the colored train routes online, and ask Lukas or the concierge at your hotel to instruct you where to get on/off, etc. Lukas was a tremendous help in this regard, once I explained my inexperience.
Thank you Lukas for a perfect day in the mountains!

My husband and I were so glad to find Lukas and take his tour to the Bohemian Paradise Geopark. We couldn't have managed it on our own and he was a fabulous guide. Lukas knows the landscape well and planned a route that took us through amazing rock formations and beautiful settings. His tour included a delicious lunch at a local hotel and a walk around a village of traditional Czech rural architecture. But the absolute highlights were the Geopark. Lukas set a leisurely but measured pace and ensured that we were all able physically to do the hike. Then he took us to parts of the Geopark that he has come to know from his many times there, telling us of the geology, geography and history of this amazing setting. He provided us with water and snacks and even carried extra rain jackets in case anyone needed them. There were only 4 of us hiking with him that day which is a great size group. We really wanted to go on this tour and we would not be in Prague during his regularly scheduled available dates so he opened a new day for us, and joyfully another couple came, too. He picked us up at the appointed location right on time and we had a full rich day of exploring the Czech countryside with him. I can't recommend his tour highly enough. If you love unique rock formations, you'll not have a better guide.

Guide and tour were amazing. Only an hour outside of Prague - Beautiful sandstone formations, walking, history of Czech Republic and great lunch. The small tour and great guide made the trip. Highly recommend!! Enjoy

We wanted to see a bit more of Czech Republic outside of Prague and this day trip offered us the perfect opportunity.

A short tube journey to a meeting point outside Prague city centre and Lukáš took us off on what would be a very informative journey.

The Geopark is unlike anywhere I have been. Truly stunning and immediately made the trip worthwhile. Breathtaking views and tranquil paths through rock and vegetation. The trip to the Castle and the quaint villages, steeped in culture, made for a very nice break from Prague.

Would highly recommend.

No matter how incredible a city, I find that what I remember most when looking back are the outside activities - and so it will be with Prague. The Bohemian Paradise outing with Lukas was a such a wonderful treat. It’s an incredible area - Rock City is hauntingly beautiful - and Lukas is both a great source of information - on current events, the changes of the past decades, geology, flora and fauna and more - plus a lot of fun. Don’t pass up an opportunity for an outing with him – and you will see what I mean. And from a practical side, all worked perfectly smoothly - no confusion about how to get to meeting spot of how to find Lukas. Have fun!

This place is called a paradise for a reason. The views are breathtaking. I went during winter where the weather was shifting very fast. The moment it was cloudy and windy the next moment it was sunny. Seeing mists wrapping around the rocks and forest was magical! Lukas was very friendly and knowledgable. The ride to and from the destination in itself is a treat.

As someone who is not an avid or experienced outdoorsman, my hike with PragueaActive and my tour guide, Lukas, was amazing! Not only did he make sure that we found the pick up location with ease, he ensured we hiked at a pace that was comfortable for our small group of three people. He was very knowledgable about the rock formations and the paths through the forest, and we always felt safe throughout the entire two hour duration of the hike. After we completed the hike, Lukas took us to the restaurant located on the park grounds for some hot mulled wine and a hot traditional Czech lunch. He even gave us recommendations on what to order off the menu! He drove us safely back to Prague and dropped us off at a convienent subway stop that took us directly into the city center. I would highly recommend this trip for people who both love the outdoors as well as those who don't have much experience with it but would like to start. You can also book this tour through Airbnb directly.

A comfortable hike to see stunning views from the Bohemian Switzerland National Park (Pravcicka Gate) and Saxon Switzerland National Park (Bastei Bridge)! The rock formations were one of a kind!

Lukas is an experienced tour guide - friendly and knowledgeable. Lukas shared alot about the history of Czechia and the geography of the national parks, and he was very engaging at the same time. Thanks Lukas! (:

The pick-up point is a 3 minute walk from Ladvi metro station, which is conveniently accessible by the 'C'line. We save time on traffic as we enter the highway very quickly without having to go through Prague morning traffic.
