CzExperience was recommended to us by a driver we had for a day excursion we had while attending the IIHF U20 Champions in Ostrava.
We could not have been better served by Honza as he customized a walking tour of Prague based on our limited number of hours that we had available on our final day in the Czech Republic. Honza met us at the train station and also provided ground transportation into the city along with drop-off at the airport hotel that we had previously reserved as a complete package. We did not have to make any further arrangements to conclude our trip to the CZ.
The walking tour began with our group of 8 stopping at a local coffee shop and he did an overview of the historical periods as depicted by the architectural periods. He also inquired about areas of interests that we wanted to visit. Honza puts everything in tremendous historical context and gave foundational information that we often revisited.
Our 4 hour walking tour brought us through the historic city through the Royal Route across the Charles Bridge up to the Presidential Palace. Our guide helped us avoid the tourists traps and ensured we received the “Authentic Czech” experience. My wife was interested in Czech Garnet jewelry and he made sure we stopped at a store that had the Czech product not an import found in most parts of the tourist sections.
We had total control of our guided tour as we would stop and have a coffee and/or hot chocolate when we wanted. Late in our tour one member asked about a specific item that they would like to see. Honza altered the last part of our tour to ensure it was included with only a short detour.
From pick-up to drop-off Honza made our short visit to Prague a totally amazing experience. I have added all his contact information to my address book for future reference.

I contacted Honza online to arrange a day hiking in the the Czech countryside for me and my partner, he gave me options, we made a plan via email/ all so easy, and he picked us up at our hotel 9am as arranged.
The whole time with honza could not have been better, we did a 3 hour walk in the beautiful Czech paradise which is a huge woodland area with remarkable stone towers and far reaching views over the Czech countryside from some places; there are many walking routes. The hike could be adapted to different walking abilities, from novice to advanced. The drive north from Prague was about 1.5 hrs but felt quicker as we were talking and learning and laughing. We learnt a lot about the area but honza imparted information like he was talking to us as friends, he is extremely personable and knowledgable, we learnt so much about the Czech history and general stuff about life in CR today. And he shared many useful tips for the rest of our stay in Prague. Honzo was professional and planned the day flexibility for us.
I would highly recommend a trip with Honza. The day felt long, yet we were back in Prague for an evening in the city
Even if you are visiting Prague for just 3 days I would recommend you do a trip out of the city for 1 day,it gives perspective on the CR.
We had a fantastic day, the next time we visit Prague we would like to plan another trip with Honza in the south CR, over a few days.

My son and I were fortunate to spend time some time with Honza while visiting Prague. When he learned about our interest in WWII, Honza tailored a fascinating tour for us which covered Prague’s tumultuous 20th century. We walked by the gorgeous Municipal House with its historical balcony where Czechoslovakia’s independence was announced in 1918. We toured the evocative Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church and learned all about the Czech heroes whom assassinated the Nazi monster Reinhard Heydrich. And we wrapped up with a visit to the Museum of Communism. What made the day truly exceptional was that through Honza we made a connection to this beautiful city, its history and its heroes that we could not have without him. Honza is extremely knowledgeable, warm, enthusiastic and his love of country is contagious. I highly recommend Honza as a guide to anyone traveling in the Czech Republic.

My wife and I booked a half day custom tour of Karlovy Vary and the surrounding area. My great grandfather immigrated from this area, and I wanted to explore my roots. Our guide, Ondrej, was fantastic. He spoke good English, and was very knowledgeable. He arranged for us to go to a couple of local landmarks nearby, and then we went on a walking tour of Karlovy Vary. The city is a beautiful spa town, with thermal bathes, and lots of baroque architecture. If you are looking to go beyond Prague and Pilsen, this is a great place to go, and a knowledgeable guide like Ondrej is well worth the money.

We booked online in 2020 only to have the tour cancelled but we were able to rebook for May of 2020. Honza was wonderful to work with and the tour was excellent. We went to Cesky Krumlov and another castle prior to Cesky Krumlov. Honsa picked us up on time at our hotel. He proceeded to drive us to our destinations. He gave us an in depth history of the Czech Republic as well as the 2 locations we were going to. He walked with us in both locations and made sure we got our tickets for the castle tours. In Cesky Krumlov he made reservations for us for lunch and joined us to continue with our history of the country. After a full day of tour he returned us in a timely fashion to our hotel. We took a half-day walking tour of Prague and a half day tour to the Terezin Concentration Camp outside of Prague. Both tours were very informative. Honza and his assistant were very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and patient with us. We NEVER felt rushed and felt as if we were the center of attention. At the end of the tour, Honza even made dinner reservations for us at Dancing House and dropped us off at the restaurant. Great value for the money!

We had an amazing experience with Honza. Wondered around Prague City for half a day. Honza had so much knowledge of the area and took us to some really interesting places. On our second day we went to Kutná Hora and the Bone Church, and again this was an excellent day trip. Honza also knew some delicious places to drink coffee and eat along the way! Would highly recommend!

Honza is the perfect guide for your trip to Czechia. He is knowledgeable, patient and just a great person. He took us for a day trip to Kutna Hora. He made the day perfect in every way! Thank you Honza!

Had a great day with Honza in Cesky Krumlov. Despite the rain, his knowledge of history, geography and current events made the day interesting. Great English ability and thorough explanations enhanced the experience. Highly recommended!

We annually do two tours with Honzia and his colleagues at the Czech experience for 10-15 teenagers. He has always been excellent and keeps them interested and motivated throughout. The two tours are the walking tour of downtown Prague and the Old Jewish Quarter. We highly recommend him anytime you are in Prague.
We also did one tour to a castle and cave outside Prague, equally outstanding.
