The park itself isn't that exciting. Lots of grass. The reason to visit is the excellent smooth and fairly flat in line skating track. It's 4.2km long. Skates can be hired within the park 2-8 Mon -Fri 10-8 Sat and Sun April-Sept . Shop closed if bad weather. You need 2 types of id as deposit or a lot of cash. I left my driving license with them. It gets very busy on weekends.
If you want a break from old buildings and crowds come up here for an hour to get your heart racing. You can then do the walk in "Five Prague walks" between Brevnov and Strahov monastries having a beer in each and feeling you've deserved them!

This is a great place to exercise or relax. There are artworks scattered around the park, playgrounds, restaurants, everything you could want in a park in Prague.

Lovely place to walk around and view the sunset in Prague. There is a restaurant and children's play area on top of the hill.

Came to Park Ladronka to rollerblade while we were visiting in Prague. The paths are great for rollerblading, you can rent skates, pads and other gear at the little shop, and have a snack or sit down at the restaurant also. There is a bowling alley too, but we didn't do that.

Just skating around the paths made a wonderful afternoon. Its a very pretty park, everyone skating was respectful, and we had a great time.

People were also skateboarding around the path and kids were riding bikes too.

Park Ladronka has a 3.8km long very well kept inline track for inline skating, biking, running, and so on. Along the track there are various training devices, and the grass is very well kept as well for all kinds of activities. Central in the area is a cafe, restaurant, skate rental, and so on. It is easily accessible by public transport. Because of its location it is very quiet and a great place to have children running around.
