Prague Ghosts and Legends of Old Town Walking Tour

209 reviews
Take a walk through the shadows of Prague on a haunted history tour that reveals the city’s sinister side. Follow a guide along the cobblestone lanes and through lamp-lit squares of the UNESCO-listed old town, passing by the sites of murders, crimes, alchemy, ghost sightings, and other unsolved mysteries. It's a spooky way to kick off an evening in one of the oldest parts of town.

In this speakeasy bar they do not have cocktail menus but paintings on a card and the one you prefer will be a suprise cocktail! One of my favorite cocktail bars in Prague. The staff members pay a lot of attention to their guests!

Waiter doesn’t tell you what the cocktail tastes like. Instead its setup is that of a Rorschach test - ended up not liking the cocktail so was a waste of money. Go to the other anonymous bar.

After dinner we had booked here for the drinks with their unusual concept. Walking into the main entrance you find yourself in the Bulletproof bar. You then walk down a corridor on the left and there is a door disguised by brickwork to go downstairs to the Shrinks Anonymous bar. IT was really small down there , not many tables. The bartender who was charming came over and explained the concept of looking at blobs on paper which indicates which drink you are having. It was fun and we of course had to have 2 different drinks each. Everybody is quiet and not like a usual bar, very relaxing.

Having read many great reviews about this place we couldn't wait to check it out. However, receiving your cocktail is an anticlimax as the build up to it is so dramatic. You press a red button and someone comes to the door and leads you down a secret stairway which is exciting. You are then sat in a private room and given the inkblot cards and told to choose one which you are drawn to. They then make your cocktail and you are given it with very little explanation or background as to the psychological meaning behind your card. We were expecting a 'shrink' actor but were server by a regular bartender with little enthusiasm. The concept is cool but for the money there are much better cocktail bars in Prague which actors and visual effects etc (The Alchemist).

We hunted this out after finding it on TripAdvisor. Was easy enough to make a reservation for that night, and we went on a Saturday. We had a lovely friendly waiter, and we ended up staying the whole night and trying every cocktail from the ink blots! Make sure you stress what you don't like, and not just spirits as they add lots of funky ingredients - my boyfriend said he didn't like whisky and although the first he had had whisky in and was delightful (tasted like popcorn) - he had three more whisky based ones which he didn't really enjoy - one so strong it was undrinkable! Our waiter mixed it up a little but it still wasn't great. Was a fun evening and we loved the interior and the comfy chairs, but I'd recommend one or two and then moving on!
